A very nice unit that is probably a bit overrated for volume of bottles unless you use the narrow wine bottles and put them in neck, then bottom, then neck, etc. on the shelves. The unit comes well packaged and even has metal protectors on the edges. I allowed mine to sit for 72 hours before turning it on to ensure all of the refrigerant was drained to the compressor. Keep in mind that an empty refrigerator is going to run a lot because there is no mass in it to chill and stabilize the inside. Once bottles are in place, it does not run all that much, but does run more than a refrigeration does, which is normal. The unit is very quiet and the blue light for temperature and also to view contents when door is open is quite bright. One of the levelers on the unit came off in shipment, but was easy to screw back in. The unit comes with extra levelors and mounting hardware if you are mounting this in a cabinet. I have it freestanding and it looks great. Probably the one negative I would have is that the cord is a normal three prong cord which means it sticks out quite a ways from the outlet making it impossible to have this fit tight to the wall if you are covering an outlet. A flat plus would have worked much better. I used an offset outlet adapter that let me plug in from the side. Directions for changing door from one side to the other for opening is basically non-existent. Just a picture which does not make a lot of sense. Attaching handle may involve holding gasket to the side to allow screw to fit. I would recommend this product.

We got this fridge set up and paid attention to others recommending to follow instructions exactly. So we did, which actually made this a 2-day install! I had to switch the door to the opposite side which was really difficult because there were no instructions!! Just a diagram which was worthless. But we got it done and the fridge is running quietly and all seems well! I paid about half the price of my previous fridge, so I’ll be monitoring this carefully!! The wooden shelves are to be desired, (vs black matt my other one had. )The adjustable shelves are laughable but doable… I just hope this unit lasts at least 5 years!! Stay tuned 🍷

This review is being written after a month of use so it may not be the last word. I am giving the product 5 stars because it has delivered what was promised so far. I bought the refrigerator during the Christmas season. The price has increased by $200 since then. There is currently a $100 coupon available as of this writing. The refrigerator came well packaged. The cardboard box is heavy, much heavier than other electronics that I have purchased. Inside, all 4 sides of the refrigerator were surrounded top to bottom with Styrofoam. The corners of the refrigerator had metal guards to offer added protection in case of stacking. The glass front door had an extra barrier of sturdy plastic to protect the glass during shipping. Overall, the construction appears to be solid. The refrigerator required no assembly except for the handle. I plugged the refrigerator in and added the wine bottles. After 48 hours all the wine bottles had reached the expected temperature and have remained as such. I placed a separate thermometer in the upper and lower zones. The temperature in each zone was accurate to the refrigerator settings. The refrigerator is quiet. Maximum running wattage is around 67W. Often lower Bottles have to be stored "head to toe" and of standard size to achieve the advertised storage quantity. This is point that many reviewers miss when complaining about their refrigerator's storage capacity. Do your research and make your own decision. ICEVIVAL does not come up in many reviews as of yet.. Hopefully this will change to the positive as time goes by.. After reading many reviews on similar refrigerators, including many name brands all which had their own failures, I decided to give the ICEVIVAL a try. Based upon 1 month usage I would recommend this to a friend.

Arrived with an oil stain on the bottom of the box which was concerning and in retrospect should have flagged an immediate return. After following all assembly instructions, including having to wipe down the unit of residue oil, I waited 24 hours before starting it up (as directed). I plugged it in and set the temperature controls. It sounded noisy and within the first 30 minutes the smell of burnt rubber was evident. Had to disassemble and repackage the unit into the original box to prepare for UPS pickup and return, which took almost two hours. Needlessly to say very disappointed…..

This arrived well packed so that nothing would be scratched or dented in transport. (Be aware that if you cut the heavy plastic ties that secure the large box, the whole top of the box lifts right off, leaving the cooler standing on the packaging base. Simple.). I put it in place, leveled it out, and left it unpluged for 24 hrs., as per the directions. It works remarkably well and runs very quietly. (I have to listen intently even to hear it running.) I appreciate the dual control and the qulaity and capacity of the cooler.
