These chairs were easy to put together and are a good value and quality for the price. My only complaint is they are not as comfortable as I had hoped, the seat depth is a little shorter than I would like. Overall I like the look of them and they are sturdy.     • Disappointing and confusing

Probably the worst thing I’ve ever ordered. I’ve been working on these stools for 3 hours and have 2 somewhat finished. I say “somewhat” because I have had to wrap screws in tape in order to keep them from falling out. Instructions not very clear. I’ll be lucky if I manage to get 3 of the 4 together. I would return them but the box is too heavy for me to move. ... show more

Only con is the size of the screws. The screws to connect the seat back and seat were not long enough with the washers on. For some, I had to forgo using the washers so that the screw would connect. This is true when collecting some of the legs as well. Other than that, assembly was straightforward. I only used the tools provided and it took me about 45 minutes solo. All legs were even, so no wobbling at all. No defects in any of the parts / supplies. We love the finished product. They look higher end. The seat itself is on the smaller side, so these would not be ideal if you prefer a larger seat. We get a lot of compliments on them! ... show more

    • Mixed feelings experience
I needed new bar stools for my kitchen counter, so I grabbed these and was excited for all four to match! Assembly was a bit frustrating, so I definitely recommend reading the instructions first and prepping all the bolts, washers, etc. beforehand—lining them up and having them ready will save time and reduce frustration. Power tools are a must; using the tool they provide is doable, but you’ll save a lot of time and hassle if you have a drill. Over time, I’ve noticed the pieces on the feet of the chairs tend to loosen, causing a loud, unpleasant rattling sound when moved across the floor. It’s easy to flip the chair upside down and tighten the loose piece to fix it, but it happens pretty often. I’ve considered gluing it or using threadlocker to keep it in place, though you really shouldn’t have to. I’ve never had this exact piece be such an issue before, so it’s just something I’ve noticed with use. The cushions also aren’t very large, so if you want something big and comfy with some wiggle room, these aren’t it. They’re fine for short sits, but not comfortable for longer periods at the island or counter. Overall, I didn’t dislike the set enough to return it, but I do think I’ll be replacing it soon, and for that reason, I have a hard time fully recommending it and suggest referring to others experienced with these to base your decision on! ... show more
