Excellent starter kit. Everything you need to begin working in clay.
Color: Stained Wood-23PCS
This kit got me started affordably in my foray into art and practical ceramics. To be clear, this is primarily for throwing clay. Though some of these tools will be useful for hand-builders, they are mostly for use at the pottery wheel. I have added to my kit and replaced some items, but months of use later and I believe every tool I received is still in good shape and working. They are not the highest quality tools, which is not a criticism. Know that generally you will pay as much for a single high-quality tool as this entire kit costs. But they will definitely fill the bill if you are a potter on a budget or a beginner testing the waters.

Great selection of tools
Color: Stained Wood-23PCS
Received very quickly, and the tools all seem to be great. The wooden tools are stained as shown in the images, this will be help my daughter keep track of which tools are hers in the classroom. They look pretty and are easily distinguished from unstained/blonde wood tools. There is a great variety of pieces and the zipper pouch is nice to have. I don't know that it will be easy to fit the tools back in the pouch once they have been used, but it is a nice place to keep the tools she hasn't used yet, or those that she uses less often.

Great beginners set, with everything you need to get started and more!
Color: Stained Wood-23PCS
Honestly, ceramics kits can get expensive, especially when you're first starting out, but this one is a really good price! I purchased this set about half a year into my pottery journey and found that it has everything you need and more to make some awesome things as a beginner. Because everything comes in one pack, you save yourself the headache of having to figure out where to find all the things that you need. There is no manual on how to use these, but you get the hang of them as you continue to practice and experiment. For me, they were the most useful in wheelthrowing. In terms of durability, they are all sturdy tools that have lasted me so far, but I would say that some of the wooden tools (like the wooden rib, etc.) wear down more easily than some of the plastic ones that I've purchased elsewhere. This is especially true, if you plan on using grey stoneware while throwing on the wheel. I'd also warn users that are new to these tools to be a bit careful with the metal ones (like the metal rib and needle tool) as I accidentally hurt myself a few times while working with them. This set has its selection of sharp and pointy things, but they're easy to store because of the bag it all comes in.

Good for soap carving
Color: Stained Wood-23PCS
My daughter uses these for putting detail into her soap carvings. They clean up nicely and have held up to several long sessions over the past 5 months. She got more tools in this kit than she actually uses but they were a good value for the price.
