One of the tips wasn’t glued well and fell off. Overall though, useful. Fairly sturdy, despite the glue issue. Probably fine for soft clay; we used similar tools for high school art class and the ends off those often needed regluing too. Just the hazards of art supplies, in my experience. Bought these for pumpkin carving though. Used a sharp knife to remove the skin carefully, then used these for the rest. My pumpkin’s “walls” were probably over 3” thick (50+ pounds) so I didn’t go crazy with detail but these definitely helped make it easier to do smaller details and carve only part-way through for a translucent look instead of cutting all the way through.

Poor tips on metal heads. A lot of debris metal. These required a lot of filing to correct and remove the jagged edges.

The tools are varied, I think there is a tool representing each type that exists in this kit. The tools look pretty well made, there are a few in this that I’ve actually never used before and I'm looking forward to trying out. Installation/setup: Use to sculpt clay or form clay on a wheel to make pottery. Final thoughts: I am just getting back into pottery as a hobby, I used to make pottery when I was in high school but that was many years ago. I don’t have any of the tools I used back then but I am familiar with the function of most of these tools. I recently got a wheel and I am getting everything set up for making a variety of cups and pots or pitchers. This kit will come in very handy and I’m glad I got it. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

The tools are great! They are useful for so many things - and there are so many of them. They all seem to be good to very good quality. They are made from a range of materials including plastic, silicone, wood and metal. It will take me a while to try all of them, but I immediately grabbed the thin metal scraper, which is great for removing some materials from my Cricut mat. I am not primarily a clay artist, but I do texture plaster and modeling paste regularly and these tools are great for that. I will also use them for creating textures with acrylic paint on paper and for all sorts of other tasks. I recommend this set for any artist that paints, works with clay or plaster or with paper. The silicone tips are great for blending charcoal and applying thin coats of glue. So, back to the case for minute. When the set arrived, the case was held shut by tying the leather strap around it. That works, but one wonders why it has all the snaps? None of them are in the right places. The only configuration I found that sort of worked was to take out the the yellow tools and the larger wooden tools and snap it shut (see picture). This leaves a long tail. Its a mystery. I plan to sort the tools by type and store them in a different way in any case (ha ha). Maybe I will find a different use for the case or modify it. I am still happy with the set and price seems competitive. I would have preferred a few pallet knives in place of some of the ball styluses, but that's just a personal preference.

This is an absolutely amazing set of clay tools! There Has got to be a tool for Everything in here! They work perfectly on clay. I like to use them to make small figurines :) They are a really good quality and fantastic variety! You have tools for the tiniest details all the way up to tools for the big details. There are just so many tools to talk about...lol I love that different materials were used for the tools. They all work great, but I'm very fond of the wooden pieces :) I think I've used those the most. They're Awesome! All of the tools are well made and sturdy. They're comfortable to hold and use. Perfect for beginners or the experienced. It's a lot of fun just playing around and seeing what you can create with each tool. The possibilities are Endless :)

My niece is into pottery and I wanted to get her a really nice pottery tools set. I had No idea what to purchase but I figured I wouldn’t buy a really expensive set (just yet) considering she is a novice at clay work. This set looks really nice and has quite a few tools in it. This turned out perfect for what I was looking for. We found everything easy to use. Comes with a lot of different tools with different sizes. Extremely easy to store and works well with all kinds of clay. The presentation is awesome! Great value too.
