Great product so far! Delivery was fast. Good quality and fairly simple to assemble. I had a question and customer service got right back to me with the answer. Very adequately powered with the 9hp engine. Most competitors only have a 7hp engine on this size saw. I have not had a lot of saw time with it but so far its done great. I bought this sawmill from MechMaxx website to make lumber for my barn loft. I had reservations on the quality of its construction, as the price seemed remarkably low compared to other sawmills of similar size and capacity. However once it arrived and I was able to see it in person I was very impressed and any concerns evaporated. It came packaged very securely in a well built plywood box. Nothing was damaged or scratched in shipment. The assembly was intuitive and easy, though it took me several hours. The big thing to me is the build quality. I'm a machinist with a background in fabrication, and looking at this machine's build; I'm impressed. Everything is built very robust using plenty of thick steel. My prior experience cutting lumber was with a chainsaw mill. This cuts like a hot knife through butter in comparison. I started by cutting a 20" diameter x 10' long red oak log into a 8" x 8" cant, the engine never felt like it was loading at all, and each cut took around a minute. I truly feel i could have pushed it much faster without losing the quality of the cut or working the machine hard. The engine started easily, and gives more than enough power. The machine as a whole really feels like its built to last. I'm very happy with it, and expect to have a great experience using it over the long term. ... show more
