Our Frenchies needed a panic room for the times our Saint Bernard gets a little too rough playing. This dog house is the perfect solution. From a distance, it looks like a regular brown deck box. But ah contrare! The small opening allows for smaller dogs to tuck away inside! The top even raises up so you can access the cavity from the topside! Fantastic thinking! The plastic itself actually feels to me to be thicker than Suncast and Keter outdoor deck boxes (we have two of their products as well). When snapping the sections together, I wasn't worried about breaking the plastic; it felt really sturdy. It even has handholds on each side, so you can pick it up and move it. Just a really great product. To the brand: It would be AWESOME if you would also offer an upgraded version that included some dog-safe insulation of the house. A brown enclosure in the summer sun is going to make for a really hot dog house. Would love to have one foam-injected insulated like an Igloo cooler, so inside temp stays reasonable and dogs can't chew up the insulation. Just a request! ... show more

Easy to put together dog house box. Now you might need a rubber mallet to snap the box pieces into place but really you can just use your hands. Or like a book if you need to. One note, there are these small plastic separators inside the edges of the walls. You will need to remove those before snapping it together. They look like they belong there. My dog doesn't care for this doghouse. I like that you can pop open the top to put them in but there is something about it she does not like. Maybe its the acoustics or something. This is a simple square dog house that is easily assembled. No frills but it gets the job done. The plastic is reinforced and adds a small degree of insulation. If needed styrofoam sheet installation can be added. This is a nice dog house that I think will last. Be aware that a puppy and younger dogs will probably chew the plastic. This could present a problem. If this happens, make sure your dog has more appetizing rawhide and bone chews available. ... show more
