I don't have enough space in my garage for my second vehicle and its battery kept dying from sitting out in the hot Florida sun all day, so I bought this carport to install in my driveway to give the car a little protection from the sun and hopefully prolong its battery life. I bought a greenhouse at this price point off of Amazon last winter that didn't even make it through one winter, so I was a little worried that this car port would be of comparable quality. That little worry was put to rest immediately after this car port was delivered and I tried to pick it up and move it and felt how heavy it was. I could tell this was built with much stronger materials than the greenhouse. The packaging did a great job of protecting something so heavy during transit. The galvanized steel poles are thick and certainly strong enough for the job. They fit together really snug, which makes the structure feel really solid once it's all put together and the hardware is tightened. The cover is where most of the weight is and thankfully so, because that means it's likely to stand up really well to the weather here in Florida. The instructions on assembly were really easy to follow and allowed me to get the structure set up in a little over an hour one evening after work, though it did take extra time over the next days to get it installed in my specific location with concrete anchors in my driveway. But if your installation only necessitates the included steel spikes, then you can get this setup in an hour or two no problem. The zippers on something like this can really make or break things, so I was so relieved to find that the zippers are extremely heavy duty quality once I had it all set up. You can tell that the folks who designed this product understood it would need to withstand some harsh weather conditions and it shows. Especially with the way I have it anchored down into my driveway, this thing is likely to stand up to any winds (short of hurricane winds perhaps) we get here in Florida. It definitely keeps my car much cooler, that's for sure. I figure if this thing keeps me from having to replace my vehicle battery after every summer, then it'll pay for itself.

Really impressed with this portable shed! It was much easier to set up than I expected and feels sturdy once in place. I’m using it for extra storage in the backyard and it’s holding up well against wind and rain. Plenty of room inside for tools, bikes, and seasonal stuff. The material feels durable and the zipper/door works smoothly. Honestly, it’s a great solution if you don’t want to commit to a permanent shed but still need reliable storage. Definitely worth it!

I’ve been using this carport for a few weeks now and couldn’t be happier. It was easy to set up right on the ground — no concrete pad needed and it’s holding up great in wind and rain. Plenty of space for my car and some extra garden tools. Solid build and great value!

I currently have a Backyard Room that is Full of storage items and needed more space to accommodate for more things that I need to put to Storage. This Storage Shelter is for sure gonna help me with that! The materials when I laid them out to Organize & Inspect were good. No dents, or bends on any of them. They feel "high quality" if that makes sense. Doesn't feel like they would give out easy. The Tarp-Like fabric also seems durable and like it will stand the outside elements. I like the fact that it is spacious enough inside (7x12 feet), that it can be secure with Ground Nails so on windy days it doesn't just fly away. Also, the Ventilation "window" is a nice addition so that it doesn't get too Hot inside and air from outside circulates inside a little. Overall, I like it. & if you're looking for somewhere to store your stuff, this shelter is perfect for just that!

I was very impressed with the packaging of this. Every bracket was individually wrapped to prevent scratches. The metal framing feels sturdy. The instructions were very straightforward. I was able to put this together on my own and it took exactly an hour. I am able to fit two motorcycles and my lawn equipment in here. I am very happy with the stakes that were included, they are heavy duty and I have no doubt they’ll hold up to big winds.

We bought this 7x12 storage shelter for our cabin to keep outdoor items protected as autumn approaches, and it has been a great purchase.
