Features

  • Smart ChargingInnovatively built-in intelligent MPPT charge controller chip helps to regulate the whole charging, generating at least 10%-20% more power than competitors. Smart 3-stages of charging algorithm is improved to better charge and maintain battery at a stable level for extended battery life.
  • Full ProtectionsPrevent the battery from overcharge, over-voltage, discharge, and short circuit, reversed polarity protection. IP65 Waterproof and sparkproof, the battery is under full protections. Most similar products just include a reverse diode, would not help to prevent overcharge, battery will be DAMAGED and KILLED. we do it for safety purposes!!!
  • Easy To MonitorThe LED indicator allows to visually monitor the working status, help to better understand the solar charger and battery conditions. The charging will be cut off when battery is fully charged and resumed automatically when battery is drained, totally free maintenance.
  • Wide ApplicationSafely used as a solar battery charger and maintainer for different 12V DC batteries including Wet Gel Cell, Deep Cycle,Flooded, Maintenance-free, AGM, Seal Lead Acid, etc. A variety of scenarios for car, boat, RV, marine, trailer, camper, ATV, lawnmower, motorcycle, jet ski, water pump, shed, gate opener, snowmobile, tractor, etc.
  • Portable and Lightweight, Charge AnywhereWeighs only 2.5 pounds and measures 16.1 x 13.4 x 0.15 Inch, lightweight and super portable. The ETFE-laminated case is durable enough to extend the lifespan of the solar panel. A layer of epoxy board is added as a bottom plate to enhance solar cell performance, which is much more sturdy than competitors. Extended 12 months warranty and our 7*24H Lifetime technical service support.

  • Nice Addition To My Battery Charging Tools
Size: 20W-PRO
The media could not be loaded. Overall, I like this 20 Watt solar battery charger very much. I already have an old (40 year old) analog charger capable of both charging and jump-starting, two wired 1.5 Amp battery maintainers, and a three year old 10W solar charger. Since I recently acquired a pickup truck that will stay ouside, I was interested in a larger solar panel. I saw this 20W unit and wanted to try the new MPPT technology (which my older solar panel does not have). I monitored voltage and current over various sun conditions and found that the unit perfoms better than I expected. It had a trickle current of between 0.33 to 0.40 amps that exceeded the advertised 0.2A. I am attaching a video to offer a tip on how to monitor current that I believe is more convenient than what is recommended in the user instructions. When measuring voltage at the battery, I got readings betwwen 13.34V and 14.52V. Under a bright sunny sky, the voltgage would slowly fluctuate between these two readings. While I wish I had more tech data on MPPT, it seems that the controller is maintaining a safe voltage mimicing a car's alternator. It might also be entering a pulsation mode to try to possibly reverse sulphation. If so, that's a good thing; maybe the manufacturer can comment on this? Users should be aware that this is not advertised as a battery charger capable of reviving a dead battery. There just isn't enough sunlight in a day. It is best used on a car that does not have easy access to a wired battery maintainer, and sits for say more than three to four days outside. All batteries self-discharge a bit plus today's cars have parasitic draw-downs. This charger will offset those idle draw-downs to keep the battery nearly full and well above 12.4V - the point below which sulfation starts. There is one small manufacturing problem that I would like to bring to the manufacturer's attention: the plastic cover where the wires exit the back of the panel does not seal tightly and pops off easily. This is caused by the small box that houses the controller not being deep enough so that the wires prevent the cover from locking tightly. Otherwise the unit appears to be well made and functions well. As far as the quality of the cover, I'm finding that for nearly everything for sale nowadays, quality is just not as good as it was three years ago. Hopefully, once the supply and labor problems of the world are sorted out, quality will improved. For the time-being, I have decided to be more tolerant than I usually am. I would knock off half a star for the loose-fitting cover, but since half stars are not allowed, I rounded up to five because perfomance exceeded my expectations. I just have to be careful with the cover whenever I move the unit. ... show more

  • A tale of three similar solar panels.
I purchased the 10W and 20W versions of this solar panel. I also have a very similar 30Watt solar panel. The target is to mount the solar panel INSIDE the Window of the Jeep Wrangler, which is pretty VERTICAL. Worse, the window is POINTING the WRONG WAY this time of year ( Fall / Winter ). The sun does NOT hit the solar panel at any time; it's always in the shade. This is the WORST possible position for any solar panel. The 30Watt panel has a mppt controller, and is considerably larger than the 20W or 10W. Mounted inside, the 20W fits, with about 2 inches to spare on either side. It NEVER starts charging due to the SUN never hitting it. It will start to charge when I put it outside, even if not in direct sunlight. This is still a GOOD solar panel. The 10W panel, charges most of the day ( flashing red ) . I'd prefer to use the 20W to fully top it off- but it seems like a bit overkill;. Today is totally OVERCAST, no sun anywhere in sight; it is raining outside. The Jeep has a slight parasitic discharge that requires topping off. Even now, in far suboptimal conditions, this 10W panel is STILL charging. YES- charging. I hate going out to the Jeep after a few weeks and finding the battery nearly dead. Now, with the 10W panel- it just works. YAY. Have a little meter plugged in that I can turn on with a switch; the battery is remaining topped off to 12.6 to 12.7 Volts, and I could not be happier. And the panel is mounted on the window with the suction cups. Would I recommend this to anyone else ? YES. Certainly. If I killed the panel - and needed to buy again, would I buy this panel if it was available - YES. PS: I don't want to put the panel OUTSIDE ; the last 20W panel - not from these guys, well, it lasted a few weeks before corrosion set inside the plastic framed panel. This is why I was looking for something MORE sealed and something I could run from within the vehicle itself instead of leaving outside. In the summer time here, humidity will reach towards 70 to 90% humidity .. So far, I love this little guy. How bad is the positioning of this panel; at noon, it is about 180 degrees the wrong direction. The entire vehicle is in the shade of the house for over 1/2 of the day. Even at 9AM, it's charging. The panel is mounted vertically- at about 80 degrees - almost vertical- again directly away from the sun for the majority of the day. Yes, absolutely the worst position to put it in; but the jeep is parked in that spot for security purposes. ... show more

  • Better than I expected quality.
It’s too soon for a review on something like this but I will say it is a better quality than I thought it would be. I’ve barely tested just clicked on to the battery but it clearly works well. My next purchase is an optima deep cycle and I will update long term t After that. First long day in the sun and clearly works well. Battery stayed steady 12.9 while the sun was out. Opened the door which dropped it to 12.8 for a few minutes and she jumped back to 12.9. Now once disconnected it he battery is back to an idle 12.7 volt. Works well, this is in a Honda crv, 2009 with a one year old battery. ... show more
