The Axqunel 20lb adjustable dumbbell set feels good in your hand. I like the sleek design, but what I have a problem with is the time it takes to change weight amount. I am in a group workout class and these would not work well in that setting if you need to quickly increase or decrease weight between sets. The main reason it takes long is that to change the weight amount you have to individually change the weight on each side of the dumbell. If you are working with 2 dumbells that means you have to change 4 sides. If you don't forsee changing weight amounts often, this is a nice set. I do like the easy release mechanism it uses which is done by sliding the button and twisting the weight a quarter turn. The price of these weights was right at $69 when I ordered them which seems a little pricey to me, but also is on par with other similar weights of this style.

I've never been enthusiastic about weight training, and the idea of trying dumbbells was growing within me and these dumbbells become a guide to the world of muscle strength. Their look, feeling in my hands, and balance are so supportive! I love the idea of adding a new plate to track my progress; it's a great way to reward my achievements. So pretty and well made. Easy to remove and to add each plate with a little twist. Great weight and functionality. I love that it is a full set with minimal storage needed and great value!

I love these dumbbells, especially the pink color! It makes working out a little more fun! The adjustable feature is super convenient because you can switch between 4, 6, 8, and 10 pounds quickly. This is a very versatile set of dumbbells that you can literally change the weight of in seconds. To add a weight, just pull the tab ack on the end plate, twist the end plate off, put a weight plate against the dumbbell, twist it on and do the same with the end plate. Do the same on the other end and your dumbbell is good. You can go from 4 to 6 to 8 to 10 pounds quickly and easily. It's a great set that I'm glad I ordered.

These variable weight dumbbells are great. Each piece is 1 lb so when added to the 4 lb base, there’s a total of 10 lbs on each one. The grip is very comfortable and the weights seem to be durable. I expect to be using these for years to come.

The media could not be loaded. Secure, solid adjustable dumbbell, with moderate concerns about durability. Weights adjust smoothly and easily and are securely attached. Handles have great grip and they largely feel just as good to use as dedicated single-weight dumbbells. My only concern is that the plastic seems like it may crack after a time. The end caps especially sound somewhat hollow and fragile when tapped together. Assuming that you take care not to handle them roughly or drop them, I see no major concerns, and the price point is good for an easily adjustable dumbbell that doesn't suffer from the same shake and rattle that other cheaper dumbbell sets are prone to.
