  • A Simple Plug-in for Quiet Nights
I made setup simple by plugging one into each room that needed cleaning and allowing them to roam freely. To cover the busy hallway, I put three of them between the garage and the hallway, one on the pantry door, one behind the junk drawer, and one along the laundry room's baseboard. They are simple to use, requiring no memory of buttons or scheduling. Within 48 hours, I made a few minor adjustments. There was no longer the "rattling" I heard when the house was dark. Less than usual, but still present, were two brief observations in the kitchen and one light trap in the garage during the first week. Things really took off in week two, as the garage trap was empty for six days in a row and there were no more ants in the kitchen. The only "encounter" I had by Week 3 was a single ant colony that vanished when I moved one trap closer to the door frame. By Week 3, both traps were still there but clean. During this time, the only new variable in my cleaning routine was electrical outlets. One electrical outlet per room in my small, one-story house met my needs, and two outlets placed along opposite walls in the garage, particularly close to the door, worked well. The largest daily change was actually in housekeeping: the little debris that had accumulated where the baseboards and floor tiles met was no longer visible when the kitchen was swept every night. The durability indicators are encouraging thus far. All six devices are operating exactly as they did on day one—no flickering, no interruptions—after three weeks of nonstop use. During the resizing process, I disconnected and reconnected a few devices, but I didn't observe any changes in performance. As anticipated, the 2025 Plug-In Kit kept my floors clean, decreased nighttime bug sightings, and made my mornings quieter when I turned on the lights. Over time, the house became quieter and more stable; all you had to do was plug it in once and enjoy life. These gadgets have worked well in my house as a quick and easy way to deal with common household pests. ... show more

  • Finally Reinforced My Home’s Defenses
I placed two in the kitchen, one near the sink and one by the pantry, two in the garage workshop, and the remaining pair in the living room and hallway. I also installed two in their respective locations. Standard outlets are able to accommodate each item with ease, and the low-profile faceplate makes it possible for hanging racks and furniture to be positioned so that they are flat against the wall. Because there were no switches to meddle with, activation was as easy as inserting the prongs; a small LED indication on each device indicated that they were transmitting ultrasonic waves. I checked the corners, beneath the cabinets, and along the baseboards in order to keep an eye on any action that occurred over the first few days. By day five, the number of encounters with stray ants and spiders that were fresh from the morning sunbeams had dramatically decreased. I would often discover stray ants or the rare spider. While this was going on, the sound of a faint but persistent pulsing that was inaudible to human hearing persisted without interruption, which indicated that the units were operating continually. Having the knowledge that they were working in the background without requiring me to change sticky pads or refill cartridges was a comfort that I much enjoyed. Ant trails in the pantry had completely disappeared, and those sugar-hungry invaders, who were little in size, had stopped making any strategic advances that they had been making. I had previously seen mouse droppings in the vicinity of the workbench in the garage, but when I plugged in the repellers, those droppings ceased to appear, and I have not heard any gnawing sounds in the walls since then. Even mosquitoes, which are brought within irresistibly during the nights when the humidity is high, seemed hesitant to remain. Previously, I would be chasing bites around the TV stand, but now I am able to enjoy game evenings without interruption. ... show more

  • Plug in and use
We installed all six units from this ultrasonic pest repeller set in our basement and garage, focusing on the utility room where we saw spiders last year. It switches between two ultrasonic ranges (10kHz–65kHz), they have blue light on when running, I like they don't rely on chemicals or traps, which is safer for my pets. The devices were simple to plug in and have been running non-stop for over a month. One thing I did appreciate is their low energy consumption , despite having all six units plugged in continuously, I haven’t noticed any big change in our electricity bill. It took about two and a half weeks before I noticed fewer cobwebs or sightings of spiders in the basement. I haven’t seen roaches or rodents in those areas recently, but to be fair, they weren’t a major problem to begin with. I do like that it offers a non-toxic solution, especially with pets in the house, though it's hard to judge how much is due to the repellers versus seasonal change. ... show more
