I had some trouble with ants in the kitchen so I thought I would get this and try it out. First off, it has two modes. The first mode can't be heard by humans and is supposed to still work against bugs. The second mode is a different frequency or something and is supposed to help out "more". It's so loud and annoying on mode 2! I turned it on and everyone in the house was like "WHAT IS THAT NOISE!?". My animals didn't seem to care about either mode, which was strange to me. As for getting rid of bugs, it did nothing. The ants walked right past it, not caring about the frequency. There were sill the occasional cricket or spider and they don't seem to care at all about the sounds this emits.

I was skeptical about these ultrasonic devices at first, but they've genuinely helped reduce the number of bugs and even mice in my home. I plugged them in around the house, and within a few weeks, I noticed fewer insects buzzing around, especially in the kitchen. It’s comforting to know that I can keep the pests at bay without using harsh chemicals. The only downside is that they emit a faint sound, which is barely noticeable and doesn’t bother us at all. Overall, they’ve made a noticeable difference in our pest situation.

The ultrasonic pest repellers appeared to have no immediate effect on ants when placed in an outlet near activity. However after several days I now see no ants in the house. I also see no sign of rodent activity. Hard to say if this is due to the repellers or the rain. I will try to write another review in a few months to update results.
