The adjustable dumbbell is great. Being able to quickly dial in a weight up to 50 pounds with little effort and switch exercises is incredibly convenient. The certainly beats having to buy a number of expensive, fixed-weight dumbbells. The incremental weight changes provide so much flexibility which one could not achieve with traditional dumbbells. The construction seems very sturdy with no movement of the plates during reps. Besides the great product, the customer service has been stellar. One of the two dumbbells was undeliverable by FedEx for some reason so I ordered a second set while awaiting a resolution. Demi, with whom I worked to resolve the first order, was very patient while we coordinated a return of the first (partial) order and secured my refund. While this is expected of customer service, this seems to be the exception rather than the rule these days. I was pleased that I did not have to navigate the sometimes circular, canned response, “nothing quite fits my situation” messaging tree of the Amazon web site.

Great dumbbells so far. A great addition to the home gym setup. Only thing that is a bit confusing is that on Amazon the manufacturer claims uniform increment in weights but that isn’t the case. The weight increments aren’t uniform. But that’s a very minor issue. Personally, I like this way better than BowFlex and cheaper too. It’s space saving and seems to have a good locking mechanism for now.

I’m really happy with these for my home setup. They are a solid value for the price and much more convenient than buying a whole rack of weights. Pros: * Space-Saver: These take up way less room than a full set of individual dumbbells. They replace everything from 3lb to 25lb in one small footprint. * Easy to Use: Adjusting the weight is quick and seamless, which is great for keeping your heart rate up during workouts. Cons: * Durability: There are quite a few plastic components. I definitely wouldn't recommend dropping them on the floor, as they feel like they could break if handled too roughly. Overall: If you're looking to save space and money, these are a great choice. I would definitely buy them again—just be gentle with them!

I just received these dumbbells and I will update this review after 3 months use. I chose these because of the 10 WEIGHT CHOICES instead of the typical 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25. The weights 3, 5, 8, 10, 13, 15, 18, 20, 23, 25 lbs are easy to select with just a turn of the hand grips. Great for beginners who want to work their way up gradually. I am at 13 lbs. I didn't have to go from 10 to 15 like most adjustable sets.

I really like these; it is easy to turn the dial and adjust the weights. And the increments are great too. This is so much better than the older model Bowlflex adjustable dumbbells I got rid of because they would stick in the tray, and were difficult to adjust. I see that the new Bowflex are better designed, but they cost around 5 times as much as these. Hopefully they will continue to work smoothly. My only concern is that you should always hold the 'open' part in such a way that just in case it were to loosen, the plate doesn't hit you, the floor/your feet. I don't think this will happen, but it is a good safety practice.
