It was ready to use in just a few minutes. The speed is one of the best things about it. Programs open fast and the computer does not slow down even when I have many things open at the same time. I use it for work and school and it handles all of it with no trouble at all. The screen is clear and bright. Colors look good and text is easy to read. The size is just right for me. Not too big and not too small. I also like that the keyboard lights up. It helps a lot when I work at night. The storage space is more than enough. I have all my files, photos and programs on it and still have a lot of room left. The WiFi connects fast and stays strong. I have had no drops or issues with it at all. The battery lasts a good amount of time on a single charge. I can work for hours without needing to plug it in. The build feels solid too. It does not feel cheap at all for what I paid. I looked at many laptops before this one and nothing else came close to this value. This laptop does everything I need and more. Good cost effective laptop solution. It has enough ports . See the pictures attached. Setup was a breeze. Reasonably good performance for most of the purpose, though don’t expect the performance of a high end gaming device , this is not meant for that kind of use. There are usb c ports, however charging uses a different custom port , that is the only I thing I wish if it was different. Make sure you are attaching the charging cable to correct port , as it can just go into audio port as well by mistake - see my picture I did that mistake ... show more

If you're looking for a basic computer to check email and browse the web, this is it. I bought this as a gift to replace the recipient's aging laptop that no longer receives Windows updates (and should no longer be used). Let's be clear, it's not a workhorse. With the RAM economy and laptops being pretty pricey, this thing comes with a couple of cool things at a relatively cheap price. Matte screen with nice density, does schoolwork and streaming really well and has enough specs to play Minecraft. I'd give it a go for work.
