  • Good
Size: 6 Pack
This ultrasonic pest repeller works really well. Easy to plug in and covers different rooms at once. I’ve noticed fewer insects and no more mice around. Quiet, safe, and effective – definitely worth it.

  • Effective Pest Control with a Power-Dependent Quirk
Living in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Southern California, we deal with a lot of nuisance pests—everything from mice and rats to the occasional snake or spider—that are all too eager to make our crawl space and attic their home. Because of that, I’ve come to rely on ultrasonic repellents like this upgraded 2025 Seozio model, and this six-pack has been a pretty solid investment in keeping our home pest-free. It's not perfect, but it has helped enough that I continue to buy and recommend it with some caveats. These devices are a passive defense that work best as part of a broader strategy. I keep a couple plugged in year-round in the attic and crawlspace, and usually another in the garage and back hallway. When they’re on, especially in the standard ultrasonic mode, I rarely have evidence of pests. That’s a big win. I like that the sound is imperceptible to me in its normal setting. But when I switch it into the higher-audio mode—what I call “scorched earth” mode—my wife, kids, and even the dogs are quick to let me know they can hear it and don’t care for it one bit. That high-frequency mode is the one I only use when I know something’s made its way inside, like when I hear scratching overhead or signs of droppings in the garage. The problem is, I often don’t find out that something’s gotten in until it’s already made itself at home. And that’s directly tied to this product’s biggest flaw: it does not return to its last mode after a power outage. That might sound like a small thing, but where we live, we lose power with some frequency due to rolling blackouts or utility-triggered shutdowns during wildfire season. Unfortunately, every time the power goes out, these repellers turn off completely—and they stay off unless I manually go around and press the button on each one. That wouldn’t be such a big deal if it were obvious when they lost power, but sometimes it happens in the middle of the day, or while we're away, and I don't even notice until I start hearing the telltale scurry of unwanted attic guests. When that happens, I go up there, switch the repellers into the louder, more aggressive mode, and within a couple of days, the activity disappears again. It does work, I can’t argue with that. The devices create a space that pests want nothing to do with, which is exactly the goal. But I wish the manufacturers would either build in a switch that resumes the last setting automatically or even allow the units to default to “on” when power is restored. As it stands, it’s all too easy for these to be off without you knowing, and that window of silence is exactly when your pest problems start up again. Still, for the price of a six-pack and the peace of mind they usually offer, I consider this a solid product. The form factor is compact, they’re easy to plug in throughout the house, and I like that they don’t rely on chemicals, traps, or constant maintenance. You just need to be proactive—check them after power outages, and if something sneaks in, be prepared to go into “full volume mode” for a few days to drive the pests back out. Once they’re gone, you can scale back to the regular, quieter mode that’s generally effective at keeping things at bay. This isn’t a magic bullet, and it’s not the only solution I use for pest management, but it’s absolutely a helpful one—especially when it’s working as intended. I just wish that "on" meant always on. ... show more

  • Works Best w/ a Map & Routine Replacement Schedule!
I was quite pleased to see this upgraded for 2025 Ultrasonic Pest Repeller come online recently and gladly snagged a trial set of six because this another ultrasonic pest control concept is what FINALLY "cracked the code" within the first 3-6 months of experimentation conducted after I arrived in this urban dwelling...but these gizmo's don't last forever and when their effectiveness wears off, they need to be replaced. Toward that end, it helps to keep a spare floor plan marked up to indicate the exact location where each of a these (minimum a half dozen or a full dozen, depending on your apartment's square footage and degree of infestation) have been plugged in, because they don't last forever and will periodically need to be swapped out as they start to lose their effectiveness. P.S.: In fact, the biggest clue indicating that it was high time I swapped out the last batch of such gizmos for fresh ones what the fact that I walked into the bathroom one morning to see my housemate had reverted to his old ways and hung a disgusting long tube-like scroll of fly paper covered with dead bugs in our shared bathroom...which clearly was antithetical to any spa-like, retreat-style, warm and welcoming home environment I can only hope to maintain if the minimum baseline we maintain is that the only critters seen in this home are our two beloved service dogs! ... show more

  • Build Quality on these Ultrasonic Repellent Devices Seems Excellent
This review is for the 2025 Upgraded Ultrasonic Pest Repeller 7 Pack, Mouse Repellent Indoor Ultrasonic Plug in, Pest Control for Bugs Roaches Insects Mice Spiders Flies Cockroach Rodent Rat From: Seozio Okay, so this set of pest repellent plug in devices was offered to me and being that summer is fast approaching, I'm always looking to keep bugs and insects (primarily spiders) outside of my house. Now, I can only tell you so much at this point. The quality of these units seems very good. I did plug each one in separately and pressed the power button located on the bottom of each unit and all of them lit up and powered on just as they should. There is also a nice little instruction booklet that comes with the devices that tell you how they operate. Each unit has basically three power settings (mild, moderate, and strong) so I plugged mine into each room and I just put them all on strong mode (red indicator light comes on). So, like I said, they are all operating very well based on how they lit up and powered on. Now, what I can't tell you as of yet is how well they actually repel insects and bugs. The reason for this is where I live, we simply don't have insects in our house this time of year. Its middle to late summer that spiders sometimes come in, and that's when I'll know much better how effective these units are. Again though, as far as build quality, 5 stars. ... show more

  • Ultrasonic pest repellent that seems to work great for mice.
Our basement was overrun by mice this winter. I put out snap traps and would empty at least 2 or 3 mice a day. There were places with piles of mouse droppings! It was disgusting. We put out scent packets that seemed to help some and a week later we added these ultrasonic repellent devices. After a week there was virtually no sign of mice anymore! There are 3 settings with the highest frequency being for general use, a mid frequency for mice and a lower frequency. We had them set on the high at first but I changed them to mid after I realized my error. Neither my wife or I can hear these on either of those settings. Great and easy way to be rid of mice. ... show more
