We decided it was time to get him his own laptop—something durable, affordable, and capable—and this 2025 i5 Laptop has absolutely exceeded our expectations. Right out of the box, we were impressed. The 16-inch FHD 1920×1200 display is bright, crisp, and perfect for schoolwork, videos, and typing practice. The design is modern and very thin (as most laptops are now), and even though it’s lightweight, it still feels solid and well made. I’ll definitely be buying a case just to keep it extra protected, but so far our son has been extremely responsible with it. Performance-wise, this laptop is great for everyday use. With the i5 processor (up to 3.60GHz), 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD, everything loads quickly—whether he's opening multiple browser tabs for school, typing in Word, or watching an educational video. There is no lag, no stuttering, and no delays. It’s also very quiet, which I appreciate during our homeschool sessions. One of the biggest perks for us is that it came pre-installed with Microsoft software like Word and Excel. This saved us time and extra expense, and it means our son can immediately jump into his assignments without us needing to download anything. The backlit keyboard has been great as well, especially when he’s typing in the early morning or evening. The camera is surprisingly decent, much better than I expected for a laptop in this price range. It works perfectly for video calls, virtual classes, and tutoring sessions. The 180° hinge is another thoughtful feature—it lets the laptop open completely flat, making it easier for kids to use without worrying about accidentally pushing the screen too far back. Our son loves that he has his very own laptop for school. He feels independent and proud, which has made a huge difference in his motivation during homeschool hours. The media could not be loaded. I was honestly skeptical about getting a laptop in the 300 range, but this 16 inch 2026 laptop i5 exceeded my expectations. For the price it offers a lot of value. The large screen is perfect for both work and entertainment. The build quality is solid, with modern design and all the ports i need without needing extra accessories. It handles everyday task like browsing, word processing and streaming with ease. The battery last very long before i have to charge it again.

Junk, One day screen just becomes unreadable. It was not dropped or damaged. One day turned it on and can't read the screen. tried to reboot and still unreadable. I had it 3 weeks. Now it is has been 30 days and still no refund.

I was looking for a decent quality laptop within my specific budget range without breaking my wallet. Surprisingly this turned out to be perfect for my needs. This is great with a 16 inch screen and super fast processor speed with i5 version of the processor. Screen quality is great and best part is it came with pre installed Microsoft softwares. I also like the packaging of the device as it is much better than the branded versions. I also likes the super big size of the touchpad which is perfect for my big size of the palm. Overall I liked it.
