Our youngest child is graduating from college this spring, so we purchased this Mallrace laptop as a graduation gift. I am impressed with the quality and performance of this PC and believe it will meet all their needs. They will use this for gaming as well as work. This PC has a nice bright 16" display, a full-size keyboard, and a large touchpad. The build quality is very high, with a slim and light, all-metal case. This laptop feels like a high-end device, and has a lot of small touches that suggests strong engineering & design. Powering this device is a Intel Alder Lake N97 processor, along with 16GB of RAM and a 512gb SSD. The display is a Full HD IPS panel at 1920x1080 pixels. Windows 11 comes pre-installed, so it is ready to go out of the box. The laptop has a wide range of ports including HDMI, three USB 3.2, USB-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a TF card socket. There is also an integrated security lock slot. The stereo speakers are mounted on either side of the keyboard and provide great sound. One of the things I like about this PC is that I could easily upgrade the memory and SSD. By removing 10 screws from the bottom of the case, I was able to open the case to get to the memory and storage. It was extremely easy to pop out the 16GB and replace it with 32GB, and I plan to get an additional SSD to use as a backup. I have upgraded other laptops that were very difficult to get to the memory banks--not this one, as it took all of 10 minutes to remove the back and replace the chips. I really like the performance of this laptop. The processor is fast, the screen is bright, and there is zero bloatware loaded with Windows. The software includes a gaming application that lets you customize some of the performance settings to optimize the PC for gaming. I did not go into the BIOS, but I am certain that you can adjust the clock rates there to get the most out of your gaming experience. I am tempted to get another one of these to replace my 3-year old work laptop--I believe that the gaming features of this laptop would enable me to easily run databases and spreadsheets. All-in-all, it is a strong performer in a light, slim case. I am very happy with this purchase and believe it is a perfect graduation gift!

This laptop is the worst tech purchase I’ve made in years. Not only does it constantly drop the Wi-Fi connection, but when it does, it claims no networks are available at all — even though every other device in my home is connected and working perfectly. The only way to get it back online is to completely restart the laptop, which is beyond frustrating when you're in the middle of work or a meeting. I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, updated everything, reset the laptop — nothing fixes it. To make things worse, customer support is an absolute joke. Unhelpful, slow responses, and no real solutions. They basically told me to do all the things I’d already tried. This laptop is unreliable, poorly supported, and a total waste of money. Save yourself the headache — look elsewhere.

This laptop cannot maintain a wireless internet connection. No matter what I update or what settings I change. It drops the wifi after a few minutes. Then, the previously populated network list is entirely empty. Does not see a thing.

The media could not be loaded. I read the specs and thought this was going to be great work computer had 16 GB of RAM, 512 SSD and a Quad core processor on Windows 11. It arrived in a basic brand-less box that was dented. This laptop is so slow that just opening a few browser tabs makes it lag. Forget about running any heavy programs or games.
