This Kaigerr laptop (same manufacturer as ACEMAGIC and other smaller Chinese brands) has a lot of potential… but also a lot of quirks that ultimately made it a pass for me. The Ryzen 7 7735HS is blazing fast, and the build quality is surprisingly solid for a budget machine—slim, portable, and made with a mix of metal and plastic. The FHD 1920x1200 display is decent for the price, nothing amazing but acceptable. But then the issues start… The 1MP webcam is already low quality, and mine had light flickering during video calls, which was a deal-breaker. During Windows updates, the Bluetooth radio stopped working, and Kaigerr doesn’t offer drivers anywhere online. I had to dig through ACEMAGIC’s site and download RX16 drivers because it's essentially the same laptop. Not ideal. Support from ACEMAGIC is responsive but slow due to time zones—not a big deal for me, but definitely something to note. Too many quirks in general, including one that really annoyed me: the Fn key can’t be disabled in BIOS, meaning I have to press Fn for basic controls like volume. Why?! For tech-savvy users who enjoy troubleshooting, this might be manageable. But for the average user or someone who just wants a smooth experience out of the box, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Great design, great speed… but too many frustrations for me to settle with. Hopefully future models iron out these issues.

This laptop has no GPU. It will be fine for office use, but it is not, as advertised, a gaming device. Please do not get this for your child.

The KAIGERR 2025 Gaming Laptop has exceeded all my expectations! Powered by the Ryzen 7 7735HS with 8 cores and 16 threads, it runs incredibly fast and handles everything I throw at it—from AAA gaming to video editing and multitasking. The 16GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB NVMe SSD make boot-up and app loading lightning quick. The 16-inch FHD display is vibrant with excellent color accuracy and smooth refresh, great for both gaming and creative work. I also appreciate the backlit keyboard, which feels great for long sessions and looks fantastic. The dual-fan cooling system is efficient and surprisingly quiet, keeping temps under control even during heavy loads. Another big plus is the expandability—being able to upgrade up to 4TB storage is awesome for futureproofing. I have used laptop for few days. It is fast, works really great with office 365. I am able to install basic application, installation is fast with 8 cores. The amount of RAM on this system is about 16 GB which is sufficient for running highly intensive graphic application with chrome and office spreadsheet open at same time. The laptop does not make sound when in the battery saver mode. It can loud at performance. The fan is not noisy, temperature remains great throughout the operation. I have used laptop for 5 hours with laptop battery. Does not feel slow when transferring files and downloading. Overall I find the laptop lightweight, good quality keyboard and fun to use when I am playing light games.

It’s a pretty good laptop for both gaming and daily use such as internet access. The design is cool with all the features that we need. It did require some instruction as our kids are just starting to use Windows. The noise level was acceptable but it did become hotter while gaming. Overall, it’s good value for money that brought joys for everyone.
