I upgraded from a laptop that was pushing a decade old, so this MacBook feels less like an upgrade and more like time travel. It arrived looking brand new. I honestly couldn't tell it was refurbished, and it runs just as smoothly as I would expect from a new machine. The light blue color is gorgeous, too. It's a fun change from the usual silver or gray laptops. My only ongoing complaint is Apple's commitment to making us all live the USB-C life. I still wish they included a few more built-in ports. That said, I picked up a USB-C hub that uses both ports and now have more USB, HDMI, and memory card slots than I know what to do with. Problem solved...after spending a little more money, of course. The biggest surprise was how much I saved by buying a refurbished model that was only about a year old. It looks new, performs like new, and my wallet appreciated the discount almost as much as I did. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Practically new with a couple of very minor dirt marks, came with original packaging and accessories. No scratches whatsoever. Passed all Apple Diagnostics tests, and battery 100% charged and functioning. Very happy with my purchase. Best M4 ever made exact configuration I was looking for for a while. My favorite is the M4 air 13 inch found a great deal. Thank you Amazon. Battery life is great and secondhand product, but shows no sign of wear and tear.

So far the refurbished MacBook has been working great. There were a couple minor scratches on the front but overall performance is great. It’s much lighter than my 2017 MacBook Air. It almost seems brand new so great for the price I paid.

Sent the wrong color and customer service response was "oh well" send it back for refund. Product works as intended but would have expected them to replace it with the one I ordered. Amazon's customers service hasgone downhill.

    • AMAZING MACBOOK! But no magsafe cable included. USB-C included instead.
WOW! I wasn't expecting to receive the Macbook in this stellar of a condition! Previously renewed/refurbished items I've purchased have had minor dents, scratches, screen pixel issues, etc. But this M4 Macbook Pro (16GB RAM, 256GB Storage) is truly incredible! I've had the product for less than a day, as of initially writing this review, but I have had no issues with it at all. There are a few light scratches on the silver Apple logo, but that's purely cosmetic and happens quite easily. It was packaged neatly in a cardboard box, bubble shield covering the device. I've been running YouTube videos and web browsing for the last ~3 hours and from full charge, it's now at 80%, which is absolutely insane to me. I've NEVER EVER had a device live for this long. The battery health was a full 100%, which is just icing on the cake. This computer can EASILY last me a decade if the battery holds up. The only issue would be internal storage, but this can be supplemented with flash drives and external SSDs. Now, the only false part of this listing is what is included in the box. It reported that in the box would include the M4 Macbook Air, a 67W Apple charging brick, and the accompanying MagSafe 3 cable. The only thing that was NOT included was the MagSafe cable. Instead, it's a 2m (6ft) USB-C charging cable. This isn't a huge deal for most people, but it is for me. I'm upgrading from a 2015 16" Macbook Pro, which has a MagSafe 2 charger. Using USB-C for charging is not typically an issue, except that MagSafe literally helps keep the device safer from accidental tugging on the cable itself. The lack of this cable is why I rate the product 4/5 stars, since 3rd party cables are unreliable and 1st party cables are about 50USD. On an already expensive (but MORE THAN WORTH IT) product, having to buy an expensive cable is annoying. TLDR; Incredible laptop, just wish it came with the promised MagSafe cable and not a USB-C cable. ... show more

If you're reading this review, this what you need to know. The laptop itself is in excellent condition, exactly what I was looking for, kudos to Apple. However these are my severe disappointments with Amazon. 1. Shipping was late 2. Item listed an Apple Magsafe 3 power supply. What arrived was an off brand USBC power supply 3. Product dropped 15% in price before it arrived. 4. Amazon would not refund 15% of price. Amazon would only honor a full return and re-purchase if I wanted the 15% discount. 5. Amazon chat support for power supply mismatch required a full product return. 6. Amazon voice support took 10 mins to get past automated system. The automated system required a full product return. 7. Amazon person support level 2 (while very nice) required I send images of the incorrect part. I took and sent photos of the USBC power supply and asked for a magsafe 3 power supply listed on the product page. 8. Amazon email support initiated a full product return without any discussion or consideration of exchange or sending the proper power supply. 9. Upon further research, I found that the offbrand USBC power supply's is a fraction of the cost and its safety mark certification expired and hasn't been renewed. Why do I care? Magsafe 3 is the apple brand power supply listed on the product page and what I expected to receive. Magsafe keeps my USBC ports free for other uses. The forced all or nothing approach Amazon is giving for product support is frankly bad and wasteful. Personally, I feel like this is intentional by Amazon to skim off the top by supplying lower cost, quality chargers and to take advantage of consumers who aren't paying close attention. What did I do? I canceled Amazon's initiated return label. I'm keeping the device, it's in excellent condition with 95% battery health. I found Apple brand magsafe 3 chargers on other websites for a reasonable additional cost. ... show more
