At first, I didn't get it, but then someone from the Sayhon company explained to me how to use the IR\UV light. The supplemental IR/UR lights are to be used for the seedling stage (to promote healthy roots, and resistance to seedling diseases) and the flowering stage (for higher yields). Ultimately, everyone will have their own preference as to how to utilize the IR/UV lights and there really isn't any wrong way. I'd just like to say, that even without them, the main lights are more than efficient for my plants in my 2x4 tent, and they are all really thriving like crazy. I currently have the light at the highest setting of 100% as I am in mid vegetation, and the light feels more warm than hot (when I place my hand on top of the light to see the amount of heat that comes from it (and it's not hot at all), and they are definitely bright enough. I also like how the dimmer knob can actually turn the light off and on. With this grow light, my tent is at its best set up that I've had so far. I'd definitely recommend them. This Sayhon company is serious and really cares about customer satisfaction, too. The representative that I was in contact with realized that I was a bit frustrated by not understanding how to use the supplement lights and after thoroughly explaining it to me, he even sent me a major bonus item for my tent set up, at no charge. I am glad that I decided on this grow light. I'll definitely continue to look into this company's products because of it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This light has changed the game! With the added supplemental UV strip my grow has never been better (pay no mind to the nute burn, seedlings went from organic soil to ocean forest at first transplant). This light is incredibly bright, in the photos its only 1 sh2000 at 50%, little to no heat, 0 Noise. I don't remember ever having plants at this stage in their 3rd week after breaking out of the seed. I've done no training, no fim, and no topping, yet I already had a BOOM I'm secondary top growths on ALL on my plants, 4 different genetics. I've made a time lapse that covers a 4 day period and the increased growth rate is insane. Also have to note that Sayhon customer service is A++ in a world where every company severely lacks customer care. They have responded and answered every single concern of mine and the free gift was incredible! They even upgraded my free gift!
