It has basic connections, you will need a harness for a car which you want to install this system in. It is fast works well for android auto and car play. The back up camera is included with the display, it is a very good quality camera. It has default field lines. Touch screen is capacitive and feels same as a smartphone. Cons: Steering control are difficult to map. Screen is recessed and might look like a 8 year old screen. Pros: Software is fairly latest and works well. Back up camera is of a good quality. I would recommend sealing camera with waterproof seal to increase the life. ... show more

I have been using the stereo for a couple of months now, and I think I finally have a handle on what I like and what I don't. In general, I like the stereo. For the price I am happy with what I got. The phone quality is excellent - people can actually hear what I am saying. What I like: 1. Easily installs in a double DIN space. (Mine, a Honda Element was SUPER simple) 2. Android Auto pairing was simple. 3. Navigation with Android Auto is primarily what I got it for, and is flawless - when it stays connected! 4. Touchscreen is responsive. 5. Backup camera is great AND easy to connect. 6. Customizations and controls are comprehensive and you don't need to be an expert. 7. Instructions are adequate. 8. Radio frequency can be input on a number pad instead of "seek and scan", which is convenient. 9. Lots of preset storage for your favorite stations. 10. Sound quality is good right out of the box, but integration with an amp is simple with the RCA jacks. 11. The phone quality is much better than any other similarly priced stereo I have tested. What is not perfect: 1. BIG NOTE though, there is no subwoofer out RCA jack. 2. Android Auto wireless does not stay connected for very long. This may be the fault of my phone, I haven't figured it out yet, but most of the time I am just using a wired connection as a result of the inconsistency. 3. The volume and power controls are push button controls. I find this a little difficult to navigate while driving. A knob would be easier to use while driving. 4. SD card playback is limited. I loaded 800 songs on an SD card, but only the first 200 (in alpha order) are able to be selected. I love AC/DC, but I need some ZZ Top. Bottom line: Aside from a few quirks, I like it, the price is good for what you get. I have never actually had a stereo unit that has perfect phone quality - so this was a pleasant surprise. The navigation integration with Android Auto is really what it is all about for me, and that has been inconsistent, which is why I can only give a 3 star rating. ... show more

This is really a nice little aftermarket stereo! We installed this in my nieces RAV and the install was pretty easy and straight forward (I've heard on other cars you need to provide a harness). The blue tooth was easy to connect and the upgraded features were perfect for her. The touchscreen, the access to apps, especially navigation, and just having a bigger screen to see everything in. It takes a minute to go through all the apps and get familiar with the layout and how they work. And the upgraded back up camera for her should help make the world a safer place. Simple to install, works great. Phone connects quickly and easily. The touch screen is responsive and the software isn't laggy like some off brand phones I've tried before. It just works like it's supposed to. This was a much needed upgrade in my Tahoe. Backup camera is an added bonus, the video is clear and easy to see.     • Good Upgrade for Older Truck
I ordered this stereo to upgrade my 1999 Ford F150 pickup. It's a large vehicle and I really wanted to add a backup camera and Android Auto which I use in my other newer cars. The unit itself comes with almost all of the parts you need - except for the correct wiring harness and installation kit which you need to provide. The installation in my truck was pretty easy from the stereo itself, but I did have to modify the dash a bit. The backup camera was fairly easy to install. I did have to provide my own license plate mount for the camera. Also the wires for the camera were just barely long enough but I did manage to get it installed. There were no instructions on how to install the camera so I just googled it and watched a few videos of similar models. The unit functions pretty well - although the first unit I received had a major problem with the Bluetooth range and I was told that phone calls sounded pretty far away. The seller promptly sent me a replacement unit and everything now works great. The Android Auto is wireless and connects to my phone automatically upon startup. There are a lot of custom settings to select - but the one I like the most is that you can set the stereo to mute when you are backing up and the camera is on. I think from a safety standpoint, this is a great idea! There are a lot of custom sound settings and a manual EQ, loudness, and other options.     • Reverse camera
Does anybody have an issue with the reverse camera? Camera works when I press the bottom not when I put it in reverse.
