We have been needing a good pool vacuum for a while that we can just set it and forget , and I really feel like this is the one LOL! Up on taking it out of the package it was very well packed in there with plenty of Styrofoam for protection so there were no dents or scrapes on the vacuum whatsoever! It seems super high quality and it took my husband no time to assemble and have it ready to go! It also comes with a little manual that is super easy to understand and it tells you exactly how to use it as well! It obviously isn't pool season yet so we haven't really tested it out in the pool, but we have a really large jacuzzi tub in our bath and I put it in there just to see how it works a little bit and it definitely seems like it has high suction while being immersed in the water! I absolutely love that it is cordless and it will park itself as well! So you don't have to worry about all the cords and the hassle when you're trying to get it in your pool! We have a flat bottom pool so I'm sure that this will just knock it all out of the park! I definitely think this is worth every penny just from the section that I saw in the jacuzzi tub, as well as the fact that it is Wireless as well! I will have to come back and update this review once we use it in our pool as well! But as of right now I could not be happier definitely think that it works excellently and that it is heavy duty and sturdy as well! Got to give it a 10 out of 10 this far ... show more

when my liner was replaced .... they left a slight wrinkle around edge of one end of my pool (which the pool person said might smooth out, but it has not). This vacuum gets stuck on the wrinkle and it cannot propel itself back over that wrinkle. It keeps trying though. I really do think this vacuum is very good at cleaning the bottom of the pool. But if I have to keep monitoring it to give it a little nudge over the slight wrinkle then its not a good fit for me. Maybe a lighter vacuum will work better. ... show more

    • Small, but powerful

We have a small above ground pool, so you would think it would be easy to keep it clean manually, but we live in the country and lots of dust and little debris blows in on the wind, so keeping the pool clean is a constant battle. Though it is not pool season, so it hasn't been truly put to the test, we tested out the features and have high hopes for this little bot. It comes well packed and nearly fully assembled, so getting it going was a breeze. It is great that we can set it and leave it, the bot reverses when it hits the wall, so no getting stuck. It lasts longer without a filter cleaning than our previous pool vacuum did. The suction seems good enough to clean up that super fine dust film that settles on the bottom of our pool when we haven't used it for several days. Larger debris did get stuck, but we often have a cover on our pool and usually don't have to worry about leaves and larger debris. This is the smallest version of these pool bots, so if you have a really large, uncovered pool, a bigger bot might be a better choice. This one will be perfect for our little 5,000 gallon pool. You'll be happy to know this pool cleaner requires minimal assembly upon receipt. Basically just install a few screws for the handle and you're finished. Don't forget to charge the unit before your first use. The vacuum operation could not be simpler. Submerge to fill the unit with water, turn it on and drop it to the bottom of your pool. I'm getting about 40 to 50 minutes of cleaning. Self-contained, the robot vacuum will suck in debris and hold it in the cavity of the vacuum to be emptied once pulled from the pool. You have 4 pool tracking options which you can adjust based on the size and shape of your pool. I left mine in the default setting for now. I may experiment with it later. I am very very happy with this product. It is pulling most of the winter debris from the bottom of the pool that would otherwise be almost impossible to remove. Highly recommend. ... show more

I’m always looking for some ways to efficient clean my pool’s floor, especially when windy and rainy conditions add a lot of debris and dirt at pool’s bottom, so when this little bot came out, I decided to give it a try. This specific model, Osprey 200 is the smallest little brother of the family of WYBOT cordless robots dedicated to automatic pool vacuum cleaners, and certainly is the cheapest and simplest to operate. So far, the product came in a well packed box with carboard protection, and was almost completely assembled, just to attach the top handle and a couple of scrubber/scrapper flaps on the bottom. Instruction Manual included called for a full charge before first use, so I proceed to fully charged with the included plug adapter charger. The bot is very simple to operate, just open the top section (unclipping a couple of brackets at each side) and you can access to the filter mesh for easy cleaning after each use. The motor, propeller and suction section is in the middle and completely sealed rated for fully immersion in water. Aside from the charging port and clean debris, you don’t need to deal with anything else electric on it, all is self-contained in that enclosure. After submerged in the pool and turn on, the robot will go to the bottom, and start suction all dirt, small debris and sand. This particular model, -being the smaller one of the family- will just clean only the bottom -not pool’s walls- as other big brothers are capable of that, however in my case, I’m satisfied, as my other filter pump operated robot will finish the job -if needed-. The pattern followed seems ok, and the battery time (approx. 45-50min) is enough to complete a full “scan” of the full bottom area before needed to recharge (3-4 hours). For my pool size (About 6000 gallons), the robot performed well (mostly) although sometimes, big leaves, branches debris can lock one of the robot’s wheels and interfere with the cleaning, just for those few cases, I need to go to its rescue, hook it up clean and proceed to recharge, then go back one more time to finish the job, otherwise, just drop it in the pool and “forget it” until is time to recover for re-charge. Although sometimes you won’t get a “perfect clean” pool, this wireless device is a plus for me as I don’t want anything in the pool to be powered from an electrical 120VAC outlet, and this little robot -so far- do the trick fairly well for its value. I don’t know how long will last, as its pool scrubbing action, water chemistry and sun always are hard in any pool device, but this product seems to be quality built. Time will tell, but I’ll be happy if this little bot can keep working for maybe 3-4 seasons, as is pretty affordable as its current price. If you’re looking for a simple, affordable entry level pool cleaner for small/medium size pools that is easy to operate -without fancy programs- but still do a fair job, this is a good option to consider.
