I buy most of my apple products refurbished or renewed in some way and so far I haven't had any issues. It functions perfectly and came with all accessories. I ordered the one in "Excellent Condition." - the gold wasn't quite as apparent as I had hoped, but it's still beautiful in certain lighting. - battery life was full capacity (100%). I can go 2-3 days without charging it - would definitely recommend this computer for a college student - 8 GM RAM and 256 SSD storage is perfectly fine if you're doing simple tasks like Google Chrome, Spotify in background, and maybe an Excel spreadsheet. Computer was clean and the condition was very good. There was some wear on the keys but it was clean and looks new. I purchase this as a replacement for my daughter for high school. The screen on the one she had no longer works and it made more sense for me to but her a newer model rather than paying over $500 to repair/replace the screen. The battery had 100% capacity and only 40 cycles. The only negative was the charging block is not original. Not a big deal since she still has her original one, but this may be a deal breaker for some. Hopefully I will not have to buy another replacement laptop for a long time but I would buy a "renewed" one again. ... show more

We ordered two different color laptops. This laptop looks to be brand new. I checked the battery and cycle count which confirmed that this laptop has not been used.
