These are the night vision binoculars kind of give me that military movie vibe. Although it does have a headset, it is not exactly hands free as you still need to operate the device. I use these for my night camping trips and bird watching. The device has a bit of a learning curve to it but it actually works pretty well. The eye piece is nice but it does not exactly fit over glasses. It can still work but may not be as comfortable. It works during the day or night which is great although this is more so for night vision purposes. It is nice that you can just pop these down and see through them without having to hold them up. These binoculars are still on the heavy side but lighter than the bigger heavy duty ones. It has a nice carrying case so you can store these and take them on the go. There is also a 32 gb micro sd card with card reader. The card reader is nice as you could plug this directly into your phone to transfer the video/photos from the memory card while you are out and about. This one does have silicone grip on the side but the rest of hard plastic which makes the binoculars are very sturdy. You could use it without the headset as needed. The lens are not super thin so you do not have to worry about breaking them and it gives a good magnification. That being said, the controls are not exactly intuitive. It takes a bit of a learning curve to get used to what the buttons do. The device and buttons feel pretty solid. The head band is not a solid plastic piece. It is just bands that are adjustable. It is nice to hold up. I do like the fact they have a recording function although you will need to use a micro SD card to store it on there. It can handle my 128 gb micro SD card. As stated before, it does have a 32 gb card which I verified is the correct memory size. The memory card is not the fastest on the market but it works. One thing to note about these is that the lens are not the same on both sizes. One side is deeper than the other but that is because it has different functions to enhance your experience. You do have to adjust the focus on the actual lens knob. It is not something that is controls by the button. It does give you a clearer image than your usual binoculars and the night vision is pretty on point. It is not meant to be able to say see words clearly in my opinion. You can see it but it slightly blurry. When working with night vision, be careful not to point this at any kind of light when the night vision is on as it is pretty blinding. I do like the fact that you do a wider viewer so you are able to see through these a bit easier without having to put your eyes SUPER close to the screen. The controls for taking pictures are also not as intuitive. For the most part I do likethe image quality. Overall this is a really good device to have if you want a bit more hands free and a little like military look to your night vision. This one has a less magnification then bigger ones but it gives you similar options to use during the day or night. The camera is solid (although not the best) and this is a very durable device. It does take time to get used to how the controls work so take your time. The photo quality is amazing and stores pretty quickly to my micro sd card. The carrying case is nice and plenty of room to store stuff in it. It also has a similar card reader although not the fastest it works and it makes it easier to connect to your phone to transfer pictures.

The media could not be loaded. These night vision goggles have amazing image quality. I am shocked at all the things I can see at night, which normally I wouldn’t be able to see. They are perfect for anyone who loves to hunt or likes exploring. These goggles are much more than goggles, they have so many cool features. One of my favorite things is that it will take photos and videos. I think that feature is really neat as you can show family and friends what you’ve seen on camping or hunting trips. The goggles range of vision can go as far as 1312 feet in the dark. For objects far away the focus can be adjusted by rotating the lense. The goggles are waterproof which is nice given they will mainly be used outside, however, I think these could also be used in other instances, such as surveillance. The battery life on this is great as it can last up to ten hours with continuous use. It comes with a very nice carrying case to make it easy to take with you and it also gives good protection. The band that Goes around your head can be adjusted and is stretchy yet sturdy for a good fit.

After having most my nvg experience with government supplied equipment, I noticed one thing immediately and I'm really hoping there's a work around. The issue is, when I am wanting to look past some object anywhere near me (aprx 5-10') like a tree, if it is in the field of view it's like either the goggles auto focus for the distance of that closer item or the IR lighting is so bright even on lowest setting, you can't see past that obstacle. I hope I just need to get more familiar and play more with the settings. As I write this I'm more confident that may be it. Otherwise, this is a neat and affordable little gadget that I am so far impressed with. I laughed when I realized I had forgotten about the manual focus, I'm so accustomed to it being automatic and customizable I felt like I was back in the 90's with a walk-man cassette player. I'll adjust I'm sure. Next test is to see how it does shooting, and looking through an acog and sights. I'm betting it's easier than with the old pvs 14's.... lol I certainly hope. Oh, last thing. I had to custom make an eye shield because the goggles don't have one that gets close enough to my face. So the light from the goggles lights up my face, bugs can get in your eyes, etc. I prefer having a closed in sight window, and if I need to I'll just adjust the helmet mount to be further out, for like high humidity or peripheral awareness. I used some extra scrap of soft leather, after making a paper one to use as a stencil. Worked great with a 1"wide gorilla tape piece around it on the plastic not the rubber. Nothing will stick to the rubber unless you sew it.

Every product will have it's pros and cons but this has cons more than pros. Charge didn't last as expected, long coverage isn't good etc and their video is misleading from what it claims.

Great for long distance viewing. But not good for normal walking or night hunting as the 1x has too high of magnification. 1x is like 2x basically.
