The media could not be loaded. I have a few different sets of night vision binoculars, each of them with their own merits, but this is the only one I have with such a diminutive size, and I have to say because of that it is easily my favorite pair. Physical: From a physical standpoint, this is tiny compared to other night vision binoculars I own and is roughly 25% the size of any other pair. It doesn't feel hollow or cheap, nor does it feel overly heavy and if it makes sense, it feels just right for what it is. It has a standard tripod mounting hole on the bottom which I used to mount to a camera quick release belt holster attachment. The grey camo print looks cool, and the focus ring has just a bit of drag so you won't bump it out of focus, but you can very quickly get in focus when needed. The display is small but bright and clear, and the built in rechargeable battery lasts for a long time, plus the USB-C port is a nice perk. Binoculars & Night Vision: You can use these during the daytime as binoculars with 8x magnification in 1/2 steps, so .5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, etc. and that is more granular than some of the larger night vision binoculars I have. The night vision features are good as well, and you can bump up the strength of the IR light quite a bit and I have been able to see quite far in both extremely low light and total blackness. There are also a few different ways to see in the dark, black and white, purple, and green. As far as the on-screen imagery is sharper than I would have expected, and even fully zoomed in the images are pretty clear. The recorded video and images are good, and they can include a date/time stamp on them. The audio quality of the person doing the recording is fairly good, although the mic doesn't pick up much at a distance, so if that is important keep that in mind (see the demo video I uploaded.) The set includes both a felt storage bag and a microSD card, so you have everything you need to get started after you give it an initial charge. Overall, this is a great little night vision device. It has good build quality, the display is bright and clear, there are a few different night vision modes, and it records great quality images and video. The manual focus ring is fantastic and lets you get dialed in quickly, and the size is just right for carrying around without any extra effort. For the price I feel like these offer a fantastic value, and I would recommend them to anyone interested in a highly portable night vision binocular. ... show more

    • Compact and Great Contrast Clear Night Vision
You would be buying this because you want something small, budget friendly, rechargeable, and has very good clear night vision. There are larger options out there at this price point that come with some extras, but they are not as portable and I seriously doubt that they would do a better job for seeing objects at night. The night vision is impressive for the size of this device and this price point. This by no means could be used as a Tactical use Night Vision device without user modifications. You'll be spending at least 4x to 8x the money to get one of those. With that being said, these are great for anyone who just wants to see everything going on out to about 300 yards in total darkness. The Contrast is superb on these. The focus is very good as well. Very clear object recognition in total darkness. The screen is very bright and will light up your face and chest when using them at night. One benefit of the screen setup is that more than one person can view the screen to see the object out there in the dark without passing the device back and forth. For daytime use, they are not really good at all in my opinion. Your Phone would be much better to use than these. The screen has a wavy-watery kinda Heat Wave effect/motion to it when looking at it during the day. Night Time with the IR light on this doesn't happen. The 8x Digital Zoom is not very impressive/useful during the day. At night it's good enough to clearly see what's going on. This does not have an IPX rating, so it needs to be protected from dust and moisture. The 4,000 mAh rechargeable battery is a good size and larger than the ones in other options at this price point. The battery is replaceable and 18650 lithium batteries easy enough to get. The only caveat is that you'll either have to transfer the old battery's Soldered Wire harness to the new battery should it ever need replacing or you'll need to order a pre-wired battery. This is basically a device for those who either just want to see how night vision works first hand to decide if they want to invest more later or who needs something small and compact to keep with them for viewing objects at night that is wallet friendly. Bottom Line: This device has a Night and Day difference between Day use and Night Vision. Day use, not very useful....Night Use...Outstanding performance at this price point. ... show more
