This “renewed/refurbished” MacBook is ideal for what I need. It is in almost as new condition, 95% battery health, and Applecare+ until September. Keyboard has shiny keys for the most used keys but that’s it. Superb value for money.

The 15" M2 MacBook Air 16/512 I ordered really was in excellent condition as promised. Not a single scratch or blemish. And everything functioned perfectly. It didn't come in the original Apple packaging, but well-protected nonetheless. It came with what appeared to be a new dual 60w charger with braided cable. (One reviewer complained about getting a cheap knock-off charger, but that wasn't my experience.) What also motivated me to leave a 5-star review is that I ended up deciding this model MacBook wasn't going to meet my needs. I was nervous about the return process and getting a refund, but it went well. For this expensive kind of device, you may be directed to an Amazon locker location instead of a Whole Foods or other convenient location you might be accustomed to for returns. Also, would they claim there were problems despite my being super careful about resetting and repackaging the MacBook? Or maybe I'll get informed that they never received it?! Well, I'm here to attest that the return was easy, reliable and the refund was issued in about half of the estimated potential wait time. I would trust this vendor and Amazon for future purchases. 👍🏼 ... show more

4 Stars - but to be fair - Most of these disappointments I could have realized from a deeper dive on this model before purchase. I'll start with the biggest let-downs - No USB-C Ports on THE RIGHT SIDE! WHY?!!!!!!!!! No Manual, no Apple 5-Pin Charging Cable - Though it also charges USB-C which takes up 1/2 of your ports to charge. NO HDMI PORT?! I should have looked more closely. I love playing movies/photos from my laptop to TV. Bummed. EVERY Laptop I've ever owned had Ports on both sides to accommodate accessories in a convenient position. 50% of the time I annoyingly have to plug in my charging cable or accessory cable into the most inconvenient side. If you travel like I do - You feel my pain. Airports, Hotels, Coffee Shops - That's 50% of the time I can't use an available outlet because I don't have a port on that side and the cord won't reach. PROS: Love the features - Fingerprint Authentification, light, great value, charge via USB-C cable. Weirdly - the laptop did not come with an Apple Proprietary 5-pin Magnetic Charging Cable. ... show more
