I bought this laptop because I needed a device with more RAMs to run my Architectural software. So far it seems great with basic operations. I haven’t downloaded my software yet (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp) so I will update this when I do. Update: Got the laptop in December 2023, it’s now May 2024. I’ve downloaded some software in the device (Revit 2024, AutoCAD 2024, and QGIS) and it runs fine. I also purchased a cooling pad and that really helps. Got some lagging on my AutoCAD but everything else not much lagging. Graphics are good. However the battery life on this thing is garbage. You essentially have to keep it plugged in all the time. It’s very inconvenient. Also, get a pair of headphones because the volume is relatively low and you won’t be able to hear well if you wanted to watch a movie on Netflix or something. Update: The battery life is garbage and after 6 months the screen went bad. Now I can’t see anything and I need to get another laptop. Customer service stopped replying to me when I brought it to their attention so I went to MSI's customer service directly and they were of no help. Maybe looking into something else would be better. ... show more
