I was running plug-and-play LED replacement bulbs in my 4-foot, 8-bulb ballast fixtures, but was not happy with the price of the LED bulbs or the results in my garden. I took a chance on the BP4000 and hung it over a 4' X 8' ebb-and-flow system in place of TWO 4-foot, 8-bulb ballast fixtures. You can see from the photo that the results are STELLAR! My plants have never been healthier or more productive. My peas and beans are just LOADED. Broccoli stayed compact and produced a beautiful head followed by lots of stout side shoots. Bok choi is super turgid and crisp. Getting cucumbers for the first time, after 10 years of trying. No other changes, same nutrients. I have only been running the light for about 2 months and am hoping the diodes will last a good number of years. I hope to someday replace my whopper HID lamp over my bucket system, where I put the taller plants like peppers and tomatoes. This fixture is VERY HIGH QUALITY and included good quality hangers as well. The light was very well packaged. I have not used the dimmer switch, but it would be useful to dial it down for seedlings and/or prevent eye strain while working among the plants. If you're on the fence, go for it. No regrets here! EDITED April 2025: I had an issue with the switch on this product, and received FAST and COURTEOUS service and a full resolution of the problem. Very nice company to deal with.

I’ve used these lights to grow vegetables and fruits for around 2 years now. They work great! Recently one of my lights developed an issue. The company promptly sent a replacement under warranty - and it’s even the newer model! Overall I'm very happy with these lights and the support/warranty for them. I would definitely buy them again!

I use this in my 4x8 tent. It covers the entire tent with bright light. Whatever plants I put in it, flourishes! It's not overly warm. It does heat the tent up to about 80-85 degrees, but I have a portable A/C in there to use when I have the LEDs on full blast to keep the temp around 75. 75 seems to be the sweet spot. I love that I finally upgraded to this!

We have had the light less than three years, and have barely used it a single growing season. Mostly it’s been sitting unused. This year we started seedlings, and the light failed just a few weeks in. Doesn’t turn on anymore.

I have owned this light since June of 2022. It has been a great light and has worked perfectly. It is really bright and I have it in an indoor tomato and lettuce garden. Recently half of it stopped working and I contacted the manufacturer and they offered to ship me a new one for free. Customer service like this is hard to find these days and I am even more happy with my decision to purchase this light.

Very impressed with this light! I grow Elephant Ears in an indoor greenhouse and they require full sun like conditions to grow their best. With my old lights there was very slow growth but after running these lights for a week. New leaves are not only growing rapidly but the true vivid colors are emerging on the leaves. Some plants immediately went to flowering as well. So far very satisfied with the results. The light is quiet but does produce heat, which helps keep my greenhouse warmer in winter. Hope this light lasts a while

I bought this to replace their lower grade light with no dimming feature. The other one though has fans on it and it here was virtually no difference in temp- within 15 mins of this light in my rent ( 5x3 ), the temp was above 80 and I needed to open the tent for air. It’s only 70 outside here so this absolutely will not work when it gets warmer. I’m returning this one and getting another of the others. Other than the heat issue, it seems sturdy and puts out good light. But I can’t have my tent this hot Or with it wide open for circulation. It’s a great light if you have the room for cooler temps.
