Dead in 17 months, I bought expensive one so I would not have isues like this. I work on the computer at home so it is not abused n any way. I am just sick about this.

Tech guy at work suggested this for a gaming laptop for husband’s birthday and he is thrilled with it! Says it’s the best laptop he’s ever owned. Liked it so much I just bought a second one for grandson’s birthday. So far, couldn’t be happier!

I bought this laptop looking for something that I could use to play my two favorite games at the moment while having plenty of power if something newer caught my eye. It handles Ark Survival Evolved at 1080, Epic settings without a problem and while the fans get loud, they don't overwhelm the sound. I was quite the happy camper until the laptop just started booting to bios and did not recognize the drive. A week later it was back, and I was expecting to write a review that praised Asus for how they handled RMAs. Instead the tech never finished running Asus' imaging software that was on the machine so I did so I could finish the install of Windows. Then I discovered that only 1 TB of the SSD had been partitioned and made active on my 2 TB drive. It is frustrating to think that in the tech's hurry to get this finished, they couldn't be bothered to do the basics before sending it back. Hence the 2-star rating. It's a great laptop for the price, but Asus' RMA process leave much to be desired. ... show more

    • 3050ti Not worth it
$1800 for a 3050ti is not worth it. You can get a 3070 laptop, probably with less ram and a smaller ssd, for $1500. Upgrade those other items when you are ready. 3050ti is a ENTRY-BUDGET GPU, $1800 is mid-high end price range
