    • Brand new computer for refurbished price...quite pleased
The LG Gram 17 inch was on my short list of possible replacements for my Surface Book 2 which had to be replaced because the battery went after 3 years--and idiotically, batteries cannot be replaced in Surface computers . The LG is among the most repairable of of laptops and this one turns into a tablet by folding the screen back 360. I've had it a month an it works fine. This was sold as refurbished for $600 less than a new one can be had. But so far as I can tell, it is brand new. Came in original LG packaging with all LG accessories in a box that seemed straight from the factory. And in the box was a warranty card from LG, and I've now registered it as new computer. it may be that I was just lucky, but maybe you will be too! ... show more

Touch screen/Stylus interplay is suboptimal, very jittery and not natural like a new ipad or Surface Pro. The battery life however is very good, often had +10hrs of real use using Microsoft Word and internet browsing. Usually holding around ~7hrs when using Solidworks & Inventor for my Engineering classes. ... show more

Initially very happy with this laptop. Lightweight, touch screen is spot on, including stylus is easy to work with. Battery life is good. A few weeks after the purchase, I noticed it wouldn't accept a charge unless I completely shut the computer down and restarted it. Searched for solutions and found this to be a common problem with LG Gram machines. I bought another couple of chargers to make sure it wasn't an issue with the chargers. No change. Last week, the rear USB-C port stopped working also, it doesn't recognize if anything is plugged in. Unfortunate, because this machine had so much good going for it. ... show more

Laptop came in excellent condition, no scratches on the screen or cosmetic issues of any kind. Internal components match the listing, nothing missing, performance is phenomenal. As an added bonus, no bloatware was installed, just a clean version of Windows 11 ready to be set up. The charger included is aftermarket, this is noted in the product description and was expected. It had some residual glue on the power brick and charging cable which needed to be cleaned, but otherwise works fine. For the money you save purchasing a renewed product, I'm fine with this. The laptop arrived with the stylus missing - I contacted the seller who was quick to respond and had it shipped with tracking same day. The stylus arrived in two days, new-in-box! I was initially skeptical of purchasing a renewed product but am overall quite pleased with how everything turned out. I'd absolutely purchase from this retailer again! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Be very careful with renewed item. First thing first, the item looks great, I have no complaint about cosmetics. However, there is a great chance that the display was damaged inside. You have to check again and again. Mine came with display issue. To make matter worse, when I ask for replacement, the seller wants me to return the item first. After they receive the returned item, they will ship out a replacement. I am not saying that is wrong or right but I try to explain that doing so will take a very long time but no accomodation at all. ... show more

    • Very capable basic notebook in ultracompact form
Bought this to replace a 9 yr old 15" Asus. Great display in a notebook this size, but could be a little brighter. Its bright enough for any indoor situation. The drop-jaw USB-A connector is a bit of a pain to use, and the lack of built-in HDMI is disappointing. Both problems solved by an external USB docking hub, which I would be using anyway. Hope the two USB-C ports turn out to be reliable. Sound is adequate. Only one problem so far, that the charging indicator got stuck in the "charging" state without actually charging the battery. Reboot did not fix it, but cold restart holding the power button for 15 seconds recovered normal charging function. Hope this was a one-off. Otherwise would get a fourth star. ... show more
