I rarely write negative reviews but hopefully this will save someone else from what I've experienced. I purchased this less than 3 months ago and used it maybe a dozen or less times. It seemed to be running slow but I figured it was my internet connection. It definitely isn't my connection, things got worse and I reached out to the seller who told me, tough luck they only help within the first 30 days. Most electronics have at least a year warranty should anything like this happen. The fact that they refused to do anything tells me, either they are probably selling refurbished products as new or perhaps they are boosted and that's why nothing can be done. I would urge you to find a seller that makes customer service a priority. If you decide to get it anyway, don't say you weren't warned. ... show more

After of couple weeks the computer keeps shutting down and is getting worse. Right now I cannot even use it. It does not stay on for more than a couple minutes. I get a message that "the device ran into a problem and needs to restart". Trying to get some redress from Lenova. I am so so sad!!!

I bought this from my wife. It came with a stylus with no batteries. The pin itself was taped to the outside of the box in a little packing slip envelope as if it was an afterthought. Everything on the Internet says this pen takes AAA batteries. It does not. I’m having trouble finding any sort of reference for the batteries, Lenovo site is no help.I know it’s a small thing but it is something my wife wanted and it is turning out to be a hassle. I previously had a 2017-model Ideapad flex 4 with a Core i7. When I had to give it up I decided to replace it with this Ideapad 5. Compared to the Ideapad 4... Pluses: * The keyboard is improved and more comfortable to type on. * Battery life is much improved. * With the Ryzen 5700, performance is much better, as I expected. * USB-C PD charging on this model adds more options. Also has legacy DC-in jack. * USB3.2 Gen 1 support Minuses: * No Ethernet jack. That said, the jack on my old machine broke. So far, so good.
