Features

  • High-Dynamic Range (HDR) Image: Professional HDR technology can improve the brightness to a more realistic performance, further enhance the contrast of the picture, and the color gamut will also be expanded to better reflect the visual effects in the real environment, bringing shocking visual impact to users.
  • 2K Resolution Video Web Camera: The formats of 2K resolution in video and images are Quad HD 2560*1440P (up to 30fps) and Full HD 1920*1080P (up to 60fps). There is a frame rate switch button on the top of the camera, which supports switching between 30FPS and 60FPS of 1080P, 720P and 480P resolution.
  • Integrated Dual Omni-Directional Mics: They are designed to pick up sound from all sides of the mic, and coupled with noise-reduction technology that reduces both circuit and background noise. You can talk into the microphone from any direction and it will be able to capture the sound very clearly.
  • 90 Degree Wide Angle Fixed Foucs Camera: Compared with a zoom lens, a fixed-focus lens has a larger aperture and can obtain more light. The better the light transmittance, the less distortion produced, and a more stable quality imaging effect can be obtained in a low-light environment.
  • Plug and Play, Secure and Smooth: USB 2.0 port and easy to use, no additional drivers required. Our papalook PA930 also comes with a brand new privacy cover and tripod. Enjoy a seamless online video experience on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Mac OS 10.6, Android V5.0 and Chrome OS.

  • Best webcam under $100.
This is going to be a comprehensive review of the Black and Gray variant of this product. (PA930) Image quality - This has way better quality than most webcams under $100. It's far better than the popular C920. The low light performance is stellar. There is a bit of grain which is to be expected but it is still very clear Under optimal lighting the image quality is comparable to a budget smartphone. That's really good for a webcam. I included a picture taken by the webcam and a picture of the lighting setup I used. Wide angle, Resolution, and FPS - The wide angle is a true 90°. The button on top claims to switch from 1080 30 to 1080 60 fps. While this is true, it's actually 2k 30 to 1080 60. The 1080p60 is actually cropped(zoomed in). This is a great feature because it allows to to zoom in and out in calls by pressing the button at the top. Microphone - The microphone is a mixed bag. It is very clear. Similar in quality to blue snowball that's farther away than it should be. The main issue is that there's lots of interference going on with it. It sounds like a refrigerator is next to it. It's not loud and it not distracting but it's there. Since the quality of the microphones themselves is good I wouldn't call it a deal breaker. I'm going to try this webcam on my laptop later to see if it's a problem with my computer. Design. - This think looks awesome. It's obviously copying the design of the Logitech streamcam which I like since it looks very premium and it stands out but also is low-key. The only thing is that this thing is huge, way bigger than I thought it would be. I would not recommend using this with a laptop. If you do, use the included tripod. For people on desktop computers this works perfect and the cord is pretty long. Conclusion - This is probably the best webcam in the $100 or less price range. Do not get a Logitech in this price range, they're outdated and a waste of money. The image quality of this thing is great in all lighting conditions. The microphones are ok-ish. If you're looking for a webcam, just get this one. You won't regret it. ... show more

  • Great quality but short lived :(
This camera worked great for work calls but after just a few weeks of using my co-workers kept saying they were hearing a clicking sound. I tried unplugging/re-plugging, turning off/on but the clicking sound never went away :( don’t know what happened. Perhaps a one-off case

  • Meh…
It says it’s a 2K camera. I haven’t found a setting yet where I can control that. It performs at 1080 resolution. Also, at night, with my desk lamp on, you can see the burned highlights on my face. It’s not a bad camera, but it’s nothing super stellar either. It’s just ok.

  • lasted 2 months
it worked well for the first 2 months then it died. I don't think I need to say anymore about this. I wish it lasted because it was a great alternative to other expensive brands but it didn't. And, don't get me wrong it wasn't cheap...so now i'm going to bare the laptop cam for a little longer.

  • Unit began to have Video and Audio Noise after a few months.
The product worked well for a month or two. After a few months the camera began to show signs of video noise and audio developed a high level of static. :(. The return policy is not very long or good.

  • Horrible in low light
Whenever the camera is in slight darkness, there is a very noticeable problem with the picture quality. The picture attached is what it looks like to use the camera in low light. Maybe its just a problem with my webcam but by the time I noticed it, it was too late to return. Also, it is impossible to tell what mode you are in when using the camera. ... show more

  • Amazing Value - Remember, 2k only runs at 30 fps
After 3 years of using the same 720p camera that came with my laptop, I've finally decided to upgrade to a 2k webcam since having a proper webcam became a necessity during these times. No longer will I have comments about how poor my webcam quality is, or how terrible or dreary it makes me look. While this webcam does require a some tweaking in the settings, particularly regarding the contrast and brightness settings that the camera picks up, it's a great device for the price point that it is currently at. If you plan to use this camera though, please keep in mind that it is 2k @ 30fps only - NOT 60fps, it is only supported for 60fps @ 1080p. When it comes to setting the camera up with streamlabs/obs, I have had few issues - the main issue was that streamlabs did not properly recognize the camera at first. If you go to the settings and tweak the "input" option to the camera, however, it should recognize the camera afterwards. For zoom calls, there are 0 issues. On my device, zoom recognizes the webcam immediately and supports the 60fps option. ... show more

  • Great product
The quality of the camera is very good. I install it in the baby's bedroom, and I can see the baby resting at night, which is very good for me.
