  • After 8 months of using this Earbuds.
*first of all,,, I purchased this for my own purpose, with my own $$. Nobody asked me to write this review, I don't get ANYTHING from ANYBODY/ANYWHERE. I've been using this earbuds for 8+ months with my PC,,, at least 12+ hours per day. .. so plz consider this review is only for those people who are looking for a replaced headphones for 'PC'. FYI, I am a computer expert and the BT module of the PC also replaced to PCI-e BT v5.2. 1. No matter how soft and comfortable the headphones are, if you use them continuously for three or four hours, your ears start to hurt. For long-term use, it must be in the form of earphones that do not cover the ears. 2. I spend more than 12 hours a day in front of my computer, so battery life is important if it's a wireless. Most of the left/right independent Bluetooth earphones have a short playback time of about 3 hours. it is sufficient time considering the usual purposes, but it should be possible to use it continuously for at least 5+ hours for me. 3. latency issue lot's of Bluetooth headphone/earbuds have latency issues. If it's for listening to music it doesn't really matter, but if you're watching a video or playing a game, this out of sync issue is quite annoying. While I was looking for a suitable product for a long time under these conditions, there were a few things I liked if not 100%, and I have tested more than 30 of them. Until then, I used a 'Bluetooth headphones for jogging' for some reason and Powerbeat Pro together, but I found this in June 2021 and have been using it ever since I bought it. This is the one I've been looking for such a LONG time. There is something I need to talk about before the three conditions I mentioned above. It is also the reason I am writing this review. For over 8 months now, this Tribit earbuds have had no problems with pairing. This is very impressive and surprising. None of the Bluetooth earphones I've used have had pairing issues at all. Although there is a difference in frequency, the pairing problem occurred quite intermittently, and there was not much difference in switching multiple Bluetooth modules of the PC. The Powerbeat Pro in particular was the worst. I bought a total of 3 versions in about 2 years and tried them out.... The earphone itself was not bad to wear and the sound quality was really impressive... The battery held up quite a bit, but this PB pro had a very serious pairing problem so it was difficult to use normally. Not only PC, but also Note9, Galaxy 10, iPhone, etc. I don't think Powerbeat will ever be interested again. ..okay let's go back to those 3 conditions... 1. The wearing comfort is very good. Of course it may come off when jogging or exercising while wearing it since there is no fixing part but there is no problem at all because my use is a desktop earphone. Also there is no confusion between L and R because the shape of the left/right is different. 2. The battery life of the PB pro was very satisfactory and I didn't hear many low battery warnings during use, but this Tribit has more than that. I've never heard a low battery warning until now and it's never gone below half. The battery life is unbelievable. 3. There is NO noticeble delay! Among BT earphones there are products that specifically support low-latency (LL). but personally the delay problem was not the most serious problem so I couldn't ignore other conditions and buy a product without delay first. As a result,, this product at least had no delay that I could feel. I'm very satisfied. Overall this product is the best BT earphone I have ever used to sit in front of a computer for a long time and use it for games or entertainment, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who has similar concerns as me. ------------------- 4.21. 2022 added I recently got their customer service and want to share my experience with you guys. (the 1st pic is my old one, and the 2nd pic is the new version) It was working great until few weeks ago, I realized my left-piece is not charging anymore. I cleaned out the terminal inside of the case and the earphone body but no luck. I've been using this about 10 months so I had to contact the manufacturer directly and I got pretty bad memories about these steps,, as you guys all know. I though okay I will waste my time again... I never expected at all but I just give a shot anyway because I REALLY like this earphone. literally this is the best one that I've have used in my past 10 years of BT earphone history. I knew I have to do the boring and endless research again if this is gone. After I sent email to Tribit customer service ,,,, I got a very kind and detailed response about my case. I sent my order info and serial numbers etc then they replied me that they are going to send me an updated version of the one I purchased. Honestly this earphone is the best one that I've ever used so far but I have to say their customer service is even better. Even the shipping was superfast, It's shipped the day next I got their reply. ..oh I just realized I didn't even pay shipping fee either.. well.. Everything was super smooth, kind and fast. It's been a very long time since I've had a good experience with customer support in Amazon stores.... I really want to say Thank you again, for kind and great support. I will definitely look for Tribit's product first if I need something and I don't care even it has issues because they have great and decent customer support. hope you guys have any helps with my experiences. Have a great shopping- ... show more

  • Great battery life, crisp sound, strong BT; frustrating control buttons, poor mic, soft bass
I've used the FlyBuds for a week during two daily 1.5-hour walks. The FlyBuds offer a near complete functional set of features (minus call initiate), with one notable exception — active noise cancellation. There is noise suppression on the four-mic pickup. Audio quality is very clean and crisp, but like other reviews you’ll find, there is a noticeable lack of deep bass. Bass evaluations are highly subjective to the listener. If you want deep booming bass, these aren’t your earbuds. However, if you want clean sound and/or use apps with built-in equalizers (like Media Monkey), much of the bass shortcoming can be compensated for. Using the Amazon Audio app, which has no equalizer, produced results that were still acceptable, but lagged behind the response of other earbuds. I emphasize that for most people the bass level is acceptable. However, if you’re the type that wants internal organ shaking bass, you’ll be dissatisfied. Battery life is excellent at 8-10 hours of music listening without recharging. Also, the charging case (which uses USB-C) is a rounded soft-shell case that looks nice, feels nice, and fits into a pocket, especially a jeans pants pocket. The microphone and its noise suppression was disappointing. Frequently, callers had to ask me to repeat what I said when I was in either quiet or noisy (road traffic while walking) situations. This was true on calls to both landline and cell phones. Similar issues were encountered when paired to my laptop on business video calls. There’s no way to disable the 4-mic noise suppression. It’s very obvious to the other party that some type of suppression is being used as quality fluctuates as the suppression adjusts. The ability to turn this off would be an improvement. The FlyBuds use very small control push buttons located halfway down the stem. This design means it’s impossible to press the button with one finger. You must use a thumb and finger to pinch the stem like inserting/removing the earbuds. Simply trying to push the (very) small button with one finger would just spin the earbud in your ear with no opposing force resistance. The FlyBuds offers a full set of controls, but using them is awkward. The (very) small button felt like I was trying to adjust a Star Trek Bajoran earpiece. Enormously frustrating is the power off option should you want to turn the earbuds off without putting them in the case. Press and hold for two seconds raises and lowers volume (left or right earbud, respectively). However, the power off command is to press and hold for six seconds. You immediately see where this is going. Rarely could I get power off to work without multiple attempts to hold (did I mention how awkward these small buttons are) for six seconds to shut the power off. This is a serious design flaw. The fastest way to power down the FlyBuds FlyBuds is to return them to the case and close the case. The control buttons are the largest disappointment with the FlyBuds and their awkwardness subtracts a full star from my review. While I’m not a fan of the stem designs on earbuds, the fit and comfort (and the provided five sets of extra ear tips) of the FlyBuds was good. The fit was snug and regardless of head movement never once loosened or dislodged. And while snug, never felt “heavy” or uncomfortable. They can easily be comfortably worn for hours at a time. Bluetooth connectivity was bullet-proof. This is partly due to the Qualcomm QCC3040 Bluetooth 5.2 chip. Most noticeably, there was not one drop-out when placing a Google Pixel 4a in either rear jeans pocket. Doing so with other earbuds has caused drop-outs. The voice assistant control does work with your device's voice assistant (Google, Alexa). However, implementation is flawed. First, it takes three presses of the awkwardly placed small button on the stem. Second, music never resumed after the voice assistant was completed, requiring me to again find that button (with two fingers) to press once to resume. Third, volume level was greatly increased when returning to music requiring yet another round of fiddling with the control buttons. If voice assistant is a deciding factor for your purchase, pass on the FlyBuds. Documentation is professionally written in U.S. English in a printed small format 60-page manual (5 languages of 12 pages each). Summary Great battery life, comfortable, crisp sound (but minus deep bass). Immensely bad control buttons, mediocre to poor mic. The biggest disappointment is the control buttons on the stems. If I needed to use the control buttons more frequently, I would pass over the FlyBuds easily. So long as you’re not intending on making many voice calls/chats nor fiddle with the annoying control buttons, the quality and price point is good. ... show more

  • Good ear buds. Used to be better.
This is my 3rd pair of these I’ve ordered. I love them a lot but I just can’t stop losing them! The first two pairs I have no complaints whatsoever. This last time I ordered them and they came different than previously. This new pair came with a charging dock that was made of less quality than previously. It has loose parts that rattle when you shake it. That’s not really a set back but it’s something I’ve noticed. My main issue is these don’t automatically when you take them out of the case. They say they do but they never play sounds unless you completely turn them off and back on then resync them. It’s an inconvenience. That’s a bummer too because like I said this is my 3rd pair but if quality keeps going down I can’t see me buying a 4th one. ... show more

  • 11 months later, still CD quality sound and no issues at all.
I went back to this product to buy a pair for my brother because my experience has been so good. I was shocked to read the negative reviews! I am a sound quality nut and these have crystal clear flat response. As with all ear buds, if you don't fit them tightly in your ears, the bass evaporates. These have charged and worked every time, perfectly. Battery life is good, right in the normal range. I am buying a second pair right now. ... show more
