I am really disappointed by this computer. We have had it a few weeks and the microphone doesn’t work and the screen shuts off randomly. This computer was purchased to get my son through high school and into college. Now there is a clear question whether it will be returned or replaced. I guess I should have read the fine print more clearly. Now I am like out hundreds of dollars and my son still needs a computer for his senior year. Buyer beware. Update: 10/23/2020 - The selling company helped me a lot. They provided a return shipping label and waived the restocking fee. They were very helpful and nice. Since they were so helpful and the other reviews were so positive, I decided to purchase the same computer again. I have had Dells for years so I thought it was worth another try. The new one seems to be working fine. The microphone is good and no black out on the screen. Perhaps just a bad machine. This DELL went right to work straight out of the box. I am sixty four and a bit of non techie, yet it was up and ready to use in about one minute! The customization seems high quality, the extra RAM is well worth the extra bucks given the type of multi spreadsheet work I do (for a living!) My old Dell mouse plugged right on and the Windows 10 Pro took on the Cloud link to my desktop without any extra effort. So far this computer is great. I received it 2 days earlier than expected. I am not tech savvy at all, and this walked me right through it so easily. I am happy with the storage and the company responds fast to emails.

    • Item received with unformatted 1TB hard drive....
Computer was ordered with both SSD and HDD drives. The operating system was installed on the SSD while the HDD was unformatted and could not be seen by Windows 10. I am glad I was savvy enough to use utilities to see if the HDD was indeed installed, otherwise I would have had to return to the vendor and pay the return shipping fees (UPS would have been $34). If I had sent this to my wife or other family members, they sure would have returned the computer for not having the purchased second drive (HDD). ... show more

Granddaughter loves her new computer. Good look and feel. But she has had problems right from the start with the screen going black intermittently. Not sure what's going on there. Tried reinstalling windows so hopefully that fixed it.

I went to the Dell web site to register this laptop only to get this message 'This service tag holding product cannot be processed for retail registration. Please click here for transfer of ownership'. As far as I know I'm the only owner, I just bought it & it arrived on Tuesday of last week so how the heck do I transfer ownership in order to register it in my name? I'm not happy about this at all as I'd like to purchase a warranty for it & now I cant. Overall the laptop itself is nice & I'm happy with it's performance. I bought it to minimize space usage & use it with a wireless mouse, keyboard & monitor, but this is a HUGE issue to me & nowhere can I find a way to contact the seller. ... show more
