We ordered this Chromebook for our middle school aged daughter on 7/26/22 as a birthday present. She opened it on 8/11/22 and has used it for less than one month. Today she received a message on the screen saying "CHROME OS MISSING OR DAMAGED".

    • This Chromebook is better than what I thought
This Chromebook is better than what I thought. I while back bought me a Google Chromebook laptop and that was just a faster processor but battery life was okey but seemed as though it would fit faster with the use. This one came with a real laptop charger and not some type-c fast charge charger which are great for cell phones but not some products like a Chromebook. Which this laptop charger is a type-c connection but a better connector. The speed of it is still similarly fast as the Google Chromebook just a slight off on speed but still fast then the Google Chromebook this Acer still has all the same functions as the Google Chromebook but Acer is shaming Google laptops with the prices. But still the Google Chromebook is ok but now that I own one through one of the top seller companies of electronics of computers and laptops I am convinced Google did very well on cell phones my opinion I still have my Google pixel 3a cell phone and still kicking after I dropped my phone a few times and the screen cracked from top left corner of screen straight down to the right bottom but still in great usage. Their phone pretty strong and powerful in development. Laptop still needs it's quality builder. Acer Chromebook 100 stars. Don't listen to the negatives about this Chromebook which 2 people spoken badly of this laptop with the screen blacking out. I believe those people may have had a defaulted laptop. I haven't had issues with it at all. If your going to try to use this laptop to modifie it's function for gaming and speed or what not. I recommend to just use Xbox app for remote play which connection works great if your wifi company is fast. And use Google stadia which your first time owning this laptop you get a 3 months of Google stadia for free. And I believe that the Google stadia app was automatically on this device because stadia has purposed Chromebooks and all sorts of devices to work functionally on most Android chrome capable devices. I like long good reviews so that anyone who has doubts about this product don't good for the money you can get it cheaper if you look for the deals I ended up paying 307 out the door after tax I could have got a little bit cheaper that was after the fact lol 🤣.
