I got this to use as a combination cooler and tote bag to take in the canoe. When we go out on a day trip. It keeps food and drinks cold enough and has the space for extra clothing and other items. I finally got tired of borrowing a cooler from different friends to take camping or to the lake... After lots of searching for a soft sided cooler on Amazon, I chose this one. So far, it has not disappointed me! It's hard to envision how much a 48 liter cooler would hold... WOW 48 liters is a lot of room. I used it at our local reservoir recently for an overnight camping trip. Everything stayed perfectly cold and the bag of ice we tossed in melted some and I did not notice any water leaking out of the cooler bottom from melted ice. When I got home, I emptied the cooler out and dumped all of the water into my flower pots! This cooler seems very well made of quality inner liner and exterior fabrics. Not waterproof at all! Not built for midwest summers! I was very disappointed in this cooler. It was purchased for a road trip. The ice didn't even last 2 hours. Water continuously leaks out, found out when we took my 91 year old great Aunt to dinner and she sat where it was and got all wet from the seat. Zipper is like what you would expect on a dress, not sturdy or heavy duty at all. Returning this product as it doesn't do its job at all! Do Not recommend!!! ... show more

This cooler backpack is amazing. It's perfect for my fishing trip. I like to hike for half and hour down the rocks, for some nice big rockcod. Instead of having poles on one hand, cooler on the other, and carry a backpack on my back for lunch and fishing accessories. This backpack its like a all in one backpack, I can place my lunch separate from the fish and most importantly it frees up my hand from holding an actual cooler. Can't believe I didn't get it sooner.
