I purchased macbook pro 2021 16g 512gb pro m1 chip grey renewed was looking at all the reviews and it seemed that i might get a bad charger adapter off brand and so waited a week kept reading all the reviews i thought give a shot worse thing that could happen , i'll just have send it back ,ok just got it , it did describe it as excellent condition low and behold packaged all in apple box ,all apple charger adapter cable and macbook pro in excellent condition i was very impressed and am overjoyed so far .the price was amazing . looks like i made a good choice . ... show more

one star because the seller is just a random Amazon seller not a qualified tech company The two biggest issues have nothing to do with the computer itself, rather the accessories that come with it, the charger and cable, which are both cheap knock offs, and the sellers overall handling of that Number one the charger is a cheap knock off no branding. I’ve seen tons of them on Amazon ranging anywhere from $10-$20. The reason this is an issue is its a “smart charger“ and will send more power to the computer than the computers battery can handle For people who understand computers, skip this specific part obviously but for people that don’t it is necessary that the charger is from a reputable brand because the way that a computer receives power from a charger is through what’s called a handshake put simply the charger and computer need to communicate to each other how much power needs to be received/sent to not damage the computer the charger that’s included with the computer does not do that The overall battery health of the computer I bought was at 91% when I started to use the charger that was included the battery health we t down to 88% within two weeks It frustrates me that a product of this price range can include such a terribly cheap accessory that will destroy the battery and that is unacceptable i now use a apple charger and cable and the battery health since then it has stayed the same When you’re spending $1700 you should get a good charger. Number two experience with the seller I messaged the seller on October 18th and didn’t receive anything until October 28 and I believe the only reason they responded is because I texted them that day, reminding them about my concerns with the computers included charger To make it as short as possible, since this is a long review, the only thing that they will do is do an exchange they will not even acknowledge the fact that the charger will damage the computer the only thing they mentioned is that they do not include original accessories Even after I explained how frustrated I was, I could tell that all they’re doing is just copying and pasting messages based on my response so I know that there’s no way of actually resolving this issue So far I have no real issues with the computer itself I just cannot believe how the company can include such a bad charger ... show more

They basically gave me a brand new machine. (Apple certified refurbished). No scratches, no chips, no dings, no warping of the body. Screen was brand new and so was the keyboard. Battery has 100% health. Came with an official Apple 96w charger brick and apple magsafe 3 charger cable. So far this thing is wayyyy better than expected. I wish every refurbed computer came like this. Very Happy! Will update after a few months to let you all know how it's going. ... show more

All the Intel MacBook Pros i've ever used got so hot you could cook on them but not this thing. It's quiet, the battery actually lasts more than a couple hours, and it has some get up and go compared to the competition like the old PowerPC macs did back in the day. If you're coming from an Intel based model, you're going to be thrilled with this upgrade. Forget about using Paralells for running Windows and just use VMWare Fusion. It has all the same features and it's free. My only gripe is that I had to make a lot of changes to my peripheral setup as there were issues with my kvm switch going from my old MacBook to this one so just be mindful of your peripheral compatibility when upgrading. ... show more
