I’m downsizing from a 27in iMac to this 24in and I can hardly tell the difference. Every video I watch on the screen is smooth, vivid, and clear. Due to the new Apple M1 chip, 4K videos play without any lag and no matter how many apps I’m using, this computer doesn’t even stutter. It is amazing how they can fit such a quiet and powerful computer into a body that is as thin as a macbook. Speakers are so small yet they are stronger than previous models. The magic mouse, keyboard, power cable, and included lightning cable are color matched, even the sticker is color matched to your model! I highly recommend getting the 8 core/8 core gpu model as the base model doesn’t come with the touch ID on the keyboard - a very underrated feature. The upgrade from the base model also includes an ethernet jack on the power brick as well as 2 more usb-c jacks in the back. The power button and aux jack are located to the left of the screen on the back and side. This is not just a computer for casual home use, it will function perfectly for the majority of users - person and business. If you are looking for a new Mac, look no further.

I first I thought it was a splurge, but after using it for the past two weeks I now realize my iMac is a must-have! Love the big screen, the clarity is breathtaking and I have room to open several windows simultaneously without the content becoming microscopic. It’s lighting fast, apps open quickly, and while that sounds like a small thing I’m surprised at how much more I can get done. The sound quality is impressive, so is the mic, and I love the Touch ID keyboard -again, little things like typing passwords numerous times each day really add up to a lot of time. I’d been playing with the idea of buying the iMac for ages - SO glad I finally did!

this iMac fits nicely in between the old 21 and 27. the new chip made in-house is a nice feature. I have an older I Mac that I love. I am not a gamer at all, but speed is still important. could have bought the intel 7 gen. and been happy just the same. I do not have or need a "smart phone". my only problem was in the delivery. I pay for prime . item was promised and in stock. 7 days later, item was dropped on porch. no signature was asked for . Best Buy had for same price. could have walked in and had in hands. . if you choose amazon, make arrangements for pick up. 2 grand is a lot to leave to chance. overall I still say buy this one. I am gonna get another soon.

I have favored using Apple products over the years. My work life has given me the opportunity to use Windows products when it comes to laptops and desktops. I have also owned Windows laptops and desktops for home use in the past and will never go back to them for my personal use. I currently have a MacBook Air, iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, Homepods, Apple TV and now this new iMac which has replaced my older iMac. Apple ties everything together using iCloud. When everything works together it just makes life easy. With this iMac I have now stepped up to a SSD and that along with the new M1 Processor it makes this machine fast. Really fast. The migration assistance software that the iMac comes with allowed me to easily move everything over from my old iMac’s Time Machine backup. In no time at all I was up and running with my old desktop settings and all my Apps from my old iMac on this new machine. Rosetta 2 translates and runs a few Apps that are still Intel CPU coded. The 24 inch display is another plus for me. Beautiful colors and resolution. The fingerprint security on the keyboard is nice but my old iMac would unlock via my Apple Watch so it isn’t something that I would had to have. One negative is the ports. You either buy a USB Hub or like me purchase a few USB-C to USB Adapters to allow older devices to connect to the newer ports. I am pleased with it.

Just like other Apple products, set up is super easy. Coming from PC's is a bit of a learning experience but not bad. The only thing I would improve is the keyboard. Tiny and not ergonomic at all. I want to buy a friendlier keyboard but don't want to lose the sign-in key. Other I love this computer.

For my use case (die-hard windows fan, with a 32GB RAM machine), this MAC is going to be my second computer. Just to get into the mac world. Got the 8GB machine because I know it's enough for my use case (and amazon doesn't sell the 16GB version anyhow). Hook it up to an external NAS server and all of a sudden 256GB seems like a lot of storage. I like this machine a lot already. the best? 1080p FaceTime Camera, the screen is simply awesome and it is my new go-to for teleconferencing and working from home machine. Bear in mind, in their desktop world, this is an entry-level machine. Designed for 'home entertainment' more than professional work.

This new iMac replaces one that is 13 years old. Don't get me wrong, the old one still works, but it is so slow by today's standards that I needed to invest in a new one. I have an iPad Pro, so I am not totally out of the loop of modern day tech, but this iMac is AMAZING!The screen is like looking at a super hi-res photograph and it is lightning fast with any task you put it to. Cannot recommend enough.

I bought this for my family to have a computer on the main level without needing to buy everyone their own laptop. My family just needed a space that could run modern browsers (yes browsers. Old computers don’t even support chrome anymore) and applications. It’s sleek and thin and simple to install which is nice for a non tech savvy family. Now it’s not a powerhouse of a computer. I can’t run photoshop while Lightroom is running. And for the price you’re really paying for the all in one package NOT the performance. The display is really nice. Family pictures look great on there and there’s a lot of color and detail. I just wish the m1 chip they brag about did more instead of look sexy. But it does look good and my family isn’t trying to build an AI to make decisions on how to better improve our nation’s food supply - yet…
