Tested the Apple 2025 MacBook Pro 14.2" with 1TB SSD. The internal drive speed is amazing. Blackmagic recorded 6356MB/s Write and 6421MB/s Read for the internal Apple 1TB drive. Next, I connected a Quiizlab Thunderbolt 4 enclosure with 2TB Samsung Eco Plus to the 2025 MBP and recorded 3372 MB/s Write and 3414MB/s Read. Carbon Copy Cloner was used to copy data from 2019 MBP and then mounted it on the new 2025 MBP. The copy speed for videos and large music libraries was breathtakingly fast. Instead of minutes to copy it became seconds. This is a vast improvement in SSD speed. The new 26.1 OSX trackpad settings gave me trouble but I was able to fix them in the settings menu. Overall this seems like a big jump forward. Battery life is outstanding. I have not charged it for 20 hours and it still has 40% battery remaining. In addition, the 14.2" screen is crystal clear. Really quite VIVID! Big upgrade... yeah.

This device is good and in perfect condition. I waited a little over a week for it, but it arrived a little earlier than expected. It's a pleasure to use. I would have preferred a larger screen (14-inch diagonal), but that would require a larger investment. I've adapted to this size. It has many features that my old MacBook Pro didn't have. I bought it on sale for 1550. If another sale comes up, don't miss it. I recommend it.
