Not sure why everyone was so quick to provide a negative review without even testing their machine first. It explicitly says under the description that the computer was taken out of its box and upgraded. This laptop is easily hundreds of dollars cheaper than any other Nitro 5 with an SSD, 1T HDD, 1050TI, and 16gb RAM. Not sure how we lucked out! It typically takes HOURS to work through all the initial updates. It took about an hr on this machine! I was quickly gaming and playing on high settings. It's a very nice non-touch screen Laptop. I bought it without the intentions of ever gaming on it, but it runs very nice complex photo editing software amazing! My son says it would be great for gaming!

    • First day, Nice laptop but.
So will update with specs and more notes, but for now can say only ran on power, setup was easy. Boots up fast to login screen 19 secs, login and windows up 7 secs more. Fan when come on are pretty loud, and they come on while not gaming. Gaming well had son test subnautica below zero and it lagged, he said he would give it a 4 star, because he can play, but screen gets jumpy, and even due to it died in the game. He still likes the colors, screen resolution and playing on it. They just need a better refresh rate screen. We will test more and get an update in a few weeks. The touch pad is weird, but I guess you can get use to it. We hooked a mouse up right away, so we don’t need to use the touchpad. Mine came with Norton installed and all the specs were correct, I read some reviews were they said it wasn’t, but I will again add all pics/screen shots and show in updated review. ... show more

    • Bad Keypad out of box.
Great computer (when working correctly) - Good for gaming etc. I have been playing RDR2 on it for gamers who want to know. My issue is the keypad has several keys not working on the keyboard. Left Shift, 3,6,8,9 not working without "slamming" on key. I have contacted the seller (Apricot Power PC) who insist I pay the return postage on a defect, then wait months for them to repair rather than replace a NEW laptop covered by manufacture warranty. I would recommend laptop (I play with aux keyboard and really enjoy system) I DO NOT Recommend seller. ... show more

I'm a graphic designer and sign maker. This computer has not encountered in drag time in rendering images. Battery life is excellent! Screen resolution is excellent! Overall I would highly recommend this laptop!
