The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my sister. Our water heater broke. So we needed some way to heat the water in a larger tub for bathing, we tried heating it in a kettle but it was a waste of time! It was easy, we bought a 5 gallon bucket and heated it for 20-25 minutes, it took about 5 buckets to fill the tub. The water was very hot so we added a little room temperature water to make it perfect. This is a lifesaver in between situations where your water heater goes out and you need to replace it with a new one. Apparently, living in your car is possible if you have the right tools. This is a fun little gadget and an absolute must-have. She can use it to heat water, bathe her, bathe her dog, and more. It is important to remember to fully immerse it in water before inserting it. The media could not be loaded. We love the outdoors. We hike, camp, etc. I wanted something compact to heat our water for showers and dishwashing while camping. It does take cold water about ½ hour to heat the water to 104F. This will be excellent for those quick camping showers and definitely beats having to use ice-cold water. I was very pleased with the consistency of the water temperature throughout the bucket, the thermometer was quick and accurate. Super quality! The only thing to be aware of is that if you are camping without hookups because the cord is a little short and the whole unit draws 2000W, you’ll need a solid generator/battery in order to get sufficient runtime.
