The media could not be loaded. I run live sound. Not all of my power sources are the best. If I switch everything on, I can blow a breaker, or bog down a generator to death. This cleans up the power, and allows me to power up with one switch. Each item fully powers up before the next.

The voltage display is way off, reporting too low, off by 4+ volts. The USB port is weaker that preferred, you really want at least 2.0 amps if possible, but I'm getting about 0.66 amps attempting to charge my phone. My current office rackmount is full, but even with removing the feet, this one is 1/8 inches taller than 1.75 (only measuring the height main metal body portion without feet, not even the cover plate), so it might be a bit tight if you're wanting to use all the rack units you have available. I haven't tested all the ports yet, but so far it appears to work generally for it's primary purpose, but they don't document the amp rating on the usb anywhere, I may return it to see if I can get something a bit more accurate and closer to an actual 1.75 height. ... show more

This unit is made with "universal" plug receptacles, instead of the "USA-standard" NEMA 5-15R type. The problem is that the universal receptacles do NOT hold the plugs in tightly!! Look at the photo. What you see is just the weight of the cord, pulling the plug halfway out. Add a little bit of vibration, and it will fall right out! Definitely NOT suitable for a mobile rig!! ... show more
