Thanks to reviewer Art Davis for this explanation of the set up instructions. It is a 4 step process. 1.long press “MENU” as per instructions. 2. press “ADD”. 3. Open transmitter as per “IR” instruction. 4. Short press “MENU” with transmitter near receiver to sync them up. I am impressed with the sound quality., two headsets and lapel mics. Picks up both singing and acoustic guitar at the same time. The range is outstanding. Metal receiver and heavy duty antennas. I feel it was a great deal for a quality piece of equipment.

I made a last-minute purchase of 2 of these innopow wireless systems to provide us with 4 additional headset mics for a musical theatre production. The very low price and suspicious amount of 5-star reviews made me a bit nervous, but so far they're working brilliantly and I'm very impressed with the quality for the price. They're pretty straightforward to set up and program. I just set them to some random frequencies and I've yet to experience any issues with interference or dropouts (this of course will vary depending on where you live). The sound quality from the included mics is quite decent and I've had no signal problems with the receivers being positioned roughly 75ft away from most of the actors on stage. The 2 biggest compromises you're going to deal with when purchasing a cheap system like this are: 1) It operates on more crowded consumer-level frequency bands, so you may have to spend some time finding usable frequencies in your area. Like I said, this wasn't a problem for me where I live. And it's not a diversity receiver, which means it stays put on whatever frequencies you program it to rather than automatically searching for the cleanest frequency like more expensive systems do. So if you start experiencing problems on the frequencies you're using, you'll have to reprogram them. 2) Build quality. Durability is a concern for me since I'm using these in a musical theatre production with dancing, acrobatics, costume change, etc. With a system this cheap, it's hard to say how much abuse they'll be able to withstand. I've purposely assigned them to cast members with less physical roles and so far they've held up just fine. I'll update this review if that changes. Based upon my experience so far, I would say these are a fantastic low-budget solution for wireless mic'ing in stage and theatre applications. You get a lot of stuff in the box, including both a lav and headset mic for each transmitter pack. And the fact that you get 2 packs on their own independent frequencies and such a wide range of frequencies to choose from in a single package at this price point is a small miracle for audio techs like myself trying to run a big theatre production on a tight budget.

I got this for streaming my friend's wedding during COVID. I had them running into a digital mixer connected to my laptop. The lav mics worked well. Of course, they're pretty tinny, but if you know what you're doing with noise gates, compressor, and EQ, you can get them to sound fine for spoken word. I did have an issue during the wedding since we only had 15 minutes to set up everything due to the way the church was running their weddings during COVID. I got the mic to the priest without ensuring the pairing was solid (I had paired them at home). There was some interference that garbled the mic that I didn't notice until after the ceremony.

All right ladies and gentlemen it goes a little something like this ... after trying out a bunch of different wireless mic brands and having to return them I stumbled across the Innopow 80 channel dual UHF Wireless body packs with lapel and wrap around the head boom microphone options now at first I was a little skeptical because I've never heard of this brand name but after running into so many problems with a lot of other competitors I said I'll give it a shot cuz worst case scenario like all the other ones I'll just return it if it's not right for me so here we go ...all right I'm going to cut to the Chase and tell you what's great about this particular wireless microphone system compared to some of its competitors first thing you're going to notice is that this head unit is made from a metal frame especially if you read the specs when you're comparing. This model is not made of plastic when you look at the antennas on this unit compared to the competitors you're going to notice that this unit has a way more heavy duty and larger antenna set up you also may have noticed that there's two body packs that go to one head unit ...now what you might not notice unless you look at the pictures or check out the specs is that in this particular unit the two body packs are individually controlled because there are two XLR outputs compared to some of the competitors that have one head unit with two body packs that only have one XLR output so what does that mean that means that you're going to have two mics that are only controlled by one Master Level and if you're using two different people at the same time that have two different volumes you're kind of stuck with what you're hearing unless you want to try to manually fidget with volume buttons that may or may not be on the head unit but in this unit it has separate individually controlled availability which gives you options and when you're on the battlefield you need options plus if you want to be professional you don't want to stick 2 people on the same track also another thing the body packs have a way better antenna on their receiver compared to the flimsy ones that the competitors happen to have also checking the specs on distance in this particular model it's able to operate 250 plus feet in indoor use now I haven't tried it outside but from what I could tell on how I've used it so far it'll be more than fine. I was super impressed with the clarity of the microphones and the performance along with its dead on balls response from the body pack to the head unit with absolutely no latency now if you have powered speakers or mixer this will be more than capable of delivering your needs now I had to be a guinea pig for a little bit with these other units that failed me!!! I'm so glad I came and stumbled across this unit by doing much research but after looking through almost every microphone that Amazon has to offer... for the price the quality the performance you can't beat it with a baseball bat good luck in your hunting and shopping once you finally bring this bad boy home you'll probably keep it for a long while
