This review is for thw 12x20 ft Metal Carport. I spent two entire weeks searching daily for an affordable carport that was good quality. After carefully searching, this is the carport I chose. It was definitely the best priced, STURDY, Metal Carport I can find and I'm very satisfied with my decision. It was very easy to put up. I did it all by myself over the course of a few days. Very simple to put together. It comes with an adhesive foam seal for water protection. I used silicone caulk alongside that just for extra security. When I was almost finished building, I noticed that there was 1 single roofing panel missing. I contacted GarveeLife and they were quick to respond and send me.some extra roofing pieces, a few more than I needed. Excellent customer service, best deal, sturdy design, best bang for your buck if you're looking for a metal carport for less than 1k. I've had mine up for 2 months in the windy, rainy, and extremely hot season and I have absolutely no complaints!

I’ve never bought something like this before. recently i bought an antique vehicle. my garage was full of junk. while i cleaned out my garage i needed some storage option for my vintage car. this giant tent/carport came in like 6 days. it was super easy for me to put together by myself (i am 6’3” and very strong). it’s intuitive to build. took me an hour. and the price is unbeatable. it even looks ok. i would definitely buy this again. know your location and expectations. this works behind my house as it’s sheilded from the wind. i wouldn’t use this on a cliff overlooking the ocean. it comes with an extra top and side flaps which i haven’t installed yet

Seems to be good enough. I will see as time goes on. The roofing is pretty thin but it's doing the job. Haven't had strong winds yet so again we will see. We have had small hail storms and it held up fine. I didn't use the tape they supply. I used a white roofing caulk instead and so far no leaking. Also I didn't assemble the roof first. I assembled the frame first then added the roof. A few things got tricky but I managed with the help of my 12 year old son. Also, the self tapping screws for the roof are a joke. I had to drill pilot holes first to get anywhere. Once I got a rhythm down it wasn't horrible. I didn't use the side angle supports either as there was not enough room where I installed it. I didn't use all of the side roof panels either because I'm too tall for it and I need to be able to walk under without banging my head every time. Also purchased some tiedowns since everything is on gravel. For the price I am happy enough so far.

Unfortunately, this only lasted a week from when we erected it. We had a rainstorm with winds and it buckled. It isn't thick enough and it doesn't have enough cross bracing. Sadly, we started cutting it apart, so the broken parts won't take flight when the next storm comes through. We will have to scrape it. A good chunk of money, gone.

Update To The update : The 12x13 that I ordered two of are no longer manuf but instead now a 13x16 for short of $100 more but looks to be very well worth the cost difference and still a very good excellent deal for the quality build. Best part is no longer is the frame unit put together with self tap screws but now all bolted onto place, making it a lot less time to set up. I'm 70 yrs old and put it all together myself exception of another person help to set frame unit onto the base tubes. The roofing panels require you to place them square or other panels can end up really out of square but you can still fix the problem, take measurements to a certain joint on the frames, pull the panel slightly to match a level measurement and then screw it to the frame. Do this for additional panels and you should end up with the last row of panels looking nice and straight level instead of wavy as seen on some pics/ vids. Also, the manuf customer service is excellent, a highly recommended product and would purchase for sure another from them if needed. Changed review rating higher because of their great customer service email replies and help - Update : purchased another kit, same size. needed sheetmetal panels for another project and this was $150 cheaper than what home depot would have cost me and 4 ft plus length instead of 3 ft ones. Will use the frame unit for turning it into a greenhouse, got this second one for $50 less than last time - 12x13 kit took 3 hrs to put the frame assy all together, pretty sturdy build. Roofing panels are pretty flimsy and were all scratched up from shipping, can easily get bent by hand so caution putting together this part of the unit. All parts received and included a small bag of extra hardware. Self tap screws not the greatest but good enough, just takes extra force and time. Hardest part were angle support braces, screws go in at an angle, easier to drill straight before trying to install a screw. Fairly good instructions, all parts marked with letters for what pieces attach to each other. Good amount of pre drilled holes. Comes with attach brackets and hardware to tie into concrete, have to drill thru base if wanting to attach to dirt/ ground with rebar stakes. Overall good quality, except for flimsy and scratched up sheet metal panels and not as good attach screws and no driver drill attachment like have gotten with other kits or with box of screws have ordered
