These are good for gel products even hard gels. But I wouldn't recommend for acrylic just because they would wear down if you used them a whole lot during your application. If you were to use them to shape/lightly touch up, I could see them not being to bad. But Even with gels I go through a buffer and file with each set. So great for at home and personal use! Would be great for learning how to work with files without shredding your side walls. Not bad for the price! I would recommend for personal use.
