Just installed the fence. We will post an update if anything changes from great. It gave a unique look around the coop. Easy to install. Thick enough that the rubber mallet did not deform it. We have a fox on the camera that has been around the coop every night. Our coop is made well and we still worry about him digging. This is my 2nd or 3rd time ordering this item. Great for keeping beasties from under our out building, as well as between our wooden fence and deck. These are nice quality. We shall see if they will deter the woodchucks. I think they might be working bc my puppy Shiloh isn't charging back there every single time I let her outside, so time will tell. UPDATE: last night I was out in gardens and the woodchuck dug under this fencing. Not surprising considering how they live. That having been said, this was where they had already dug a hole .... I am hoping the fencing deters them if the try another spot along that back fence bc I crammed a gigantic rock into that hole last night.

I didn't buy this for around my garden or plants. I used it in front of my small apartment patio. It opens into an area with 2 side walls and a back wall. I have a problem with squirrels. They seem to want to play around on my tiny patio. I even had a few that would jump up and attach themselves to my patio screen. I did go to Home Depot and buy cheap white picket fence sections. But they didn't work because the space between the pickets were too far apart and the squirrels would just squeeze through them. Besides that, over time the fence got dirty from the weather and it looked awful and very cheap. So I needed something else that wasn't too expensive. So I found these sections. It was a set of 10 which measured approximately 10 feet when put together. And the front of my patio was about 10 feet. I was thrilled that I wouldn't have to cut to fit or buy extra. I was excited to put them together. It was a little frustrating putting the clamps into place, but it was worth it. I did have a small space left after I was done, so I bought a couple small fence posts to fill in the gap. When I looked at it, I thought the section spaces might still be too wide so I used black zip ties to put between the spaces. That really did the trick. It prevented the squirrels from squeezing through them. So far so good. I like that these are rustproof and not too high. I can walk over them safely. So what was really meant to protect garden's and plants, I found to be useful in protecting my private space.
