DOA. Makes noise but no water coming out. Followed instructions and troubleshooting step by step. Looks like a good machine so I contacted the company directly. No answer after 48 hours so I decided to leave review. I noticed several reviews stating same or similar issues. Too bad....

Good for capsules (compatible with original nespresso) ONLY. I would have given more stars if the ESE process would have worked. I have tried several genuine ESE pods and none of them brew coffee in this device (the brew is consistently light brown colored water). Thankfully, the capsules work as they should. Well designed device which works as intended with capsules.

The unit offers three different espresso methods: Nespresso pods, pouches and ground beans - awesome to have all three. Only drawbacks are that when first plugging in, the unit wouldn’t start and the touch sensor is really finicky for me - you need to TAP, do NOT press firmly.

I bought this machine as gift for my gf who uses the Nescafe (Dolce Gusto) pods to make cappuccino. Her Nescafe coffee maker broke and this was the only machine I could find that works with the Nescafe pods. Apparently they don't make the Nescafe machines any longer. Anyway, the first machine I got did not work. It would power on and make a bunch of noise but didn't make any coffee. I got a replacement in 2 days from Amazon. The 2nd unit technically works but it leaks water all over the counter. Water runs down the front of the machine every time you make a cup and most of it settles underneath the machine so you have an electrical appliance plugged in sitting in a pool of water. Also, the power button does not always respond. You need to press it 4 or 5 times before it turns on. It is a "soft touch" type button. There is no click when you press it so when it does not work, the inclination is to push it harder which doesn't help. Lastly, to discard the used pods, you need to remove the entire tray and open the lid. Inside is a scalding hot sopping wet used pod dripping coffee colored water all over your already wet counter. The whole process is a leaky mess every time you use it. This is a badly designed machine that does not function well.
