It's a total piece of crap. wires bind and insulation gets scraped with only 1 foot pulled out. make sure you have tools to extract wire from this joke. It's absolutely terrible. One star is too much.

The body is what seems a hardened, impact resistant plastic. The alligator clips are crimped and surprisingly sodered to wire. Weighs about a pound. No issues extending spool and smoothly retracts when wound. Exceeded my expectations tremendously. I work in the automotive industry, will be an exceptional tool for use.
