The media could not be loaded. This tool is amazing for opening socks for embroidery!! I embroidered a pair of newborn socks on a 10 needle machine and they turned out absolutely gorgeous. This tool will work on pretty much any machine when placed right (it’s only a tool to hold the sock open).

I had to embroider my grand baby’s name on toddler socks and didn’t know how I would do it until I found this item-worked great! One negative- instructions are not good. If I hadn’t seen a video on YouTube of how to use this item, I would have had major difficulty based on instructions provided.

I bought this after getting an embroidery order for 40 socks. This works if you don't currently have a sock hoop or need a backup to make things go fast. I turn my socks inside out, put this on then use stick stabilizer to get my sock to stick.

    • After a little practice, can do many pairs very quickly!
This little device does exactly what it is supposed to do, exactly as the YouTube video describes, and quickly! I hoop sticky stabilizer into my largest hoop. Then for each sock, one-at-a-time, I assemble & embroider in a different spot, I remove & disassemble. And start again until my stablilzer looks like swiss cheese. Sometimes need to rotate the design since I am placing the sock into the tightest available space. For my first project, I embroidered 4 pairs of childrens socks in about an hour - will be faster now that I know what I am doing. A little pricey, but such a great time-saving aid! ... show more
