UPDATE: Unbelievable customer service! After my first review, the company reached out to me. They gave me helpful tips such as having the garlic at room temperature. I tried the sleeve again, and this time, the outer peels came right off, and have continued to do so, time after time while using this device. This garlic peeler is such a great concept. It’s easy to clean and was comfortable on my hands when rolling. But again, the best part of my experience, is the company’s customer service and support. They took the time to reach out several times, and did all that they could to make sure that I was happy with this product. A rare and lost concept these days. Because of their customer service, I will purchase from them again in the future. They deserve all the business that they get, because they work hard to gain it.

I purchased the clear and black garlic roller/peelers. The product works quite well on one large clove or 2-3 smaller ones. After use, I hand wash and often run through the dishwasher as well. I am very pleased as it saves me time and avoid sticky garlic fingers. Overall very satisfied.

There are bumps on the inside to help it peel the garlic. But the diameter of the tube is fairly large, so there is a lot of "slack" and the smooth surface was hard for me to get a grip of to roll it. So I tried inverting it so the bumps were on the outside. It gave me better grip and so I could roll it, but there is still a lot of "slack" so it is not really all that effective. I am not sure that it isn't easier to just grab a mallet and give each one a light whack. I suspect that is what I will do next time. Doesn't seem worth the trouble to use this. I will find a different use for it - eventually.

I was a little skeptical initially when I saw them. Decided to take the risk and buy them. Works GREAT!!! In fact, I also used it to unwrap those pesky caramel wrappers for a cake that I make. It used to take me longer to unwrap those caramels than it did to make the cake. Not anymore! Have shared them with family and friends.
