I’ve used gel liners before but this one was difficult to apply. I had to press harder than I would have liked to apply. It went on chunky and uneven… thankfully I had a backup liquid magnetic liner.

So first let me say--whether you like these lashes is probably going to depend a lot on what you're looking for. I am extremely bad at putting on false eyelashes, and generally find them very uncomfortable, but I need to wear them when I perform. So what I'm looking for above all is ease of application and comfort. In those areas, these are really great. They were easy to apply, and I could reposition them to my heart's content without ruining my eye makeup. Plus, they felt less stiff than eyelashes with glue, so while I can still feel them while they're on, they were more comfortable for me than regular lashes. Here are my observations: --You definitely need to put on a regular eyeliner before the magnetic liner. The liner is thick and clumpy and kind of sticky—it reminds me of partially-dried mascara—so you won't get a nice clean line with it unless you're some kind of wizard. Brushing it on over top of already applied liner worked fine for me though. --Make sure it's on thick enough in the areas where the magnets will sit. --A lot of the reviews/instructions say to put them on while the liner is still a little wet. I did one eye slightly wet and one eye after it was completely dry, and the lash on the wet eye actually stuck in the liner and stung when I pulled it off. The dry side stayed just as well as the wet side, but came off easily when I pulled it off. So I say let it dry! --To get the liner off, use olive oil. Just straight olive oil, wipe it gently over the liner, it will break up into little black flecks. Then you can use a damp facecloth to wipe away the broken-up flecks. No harsh scrubbing required, and while I don't WANT olive oil in my eyes, it's not going to sting like a lot of cleaners if I accidentally get it in there.

If you get as frustrated as I have with regular goopy adhesive glue eyelashes, you definitely want to try magnetic ones. I prefer this Ardel gel much more than the other liquid liners that are on the market. The liquid ones get clumpy and stick to your eyelashes if you aren't careful. This gel is a bit easier to apply with the handy applicator brush that comes with it. Applying the lashes does take practice, though, so make sure you are not in a rush the first time you try. The only gripe I have about this particular brand is that if you don't wash the brush after you apply, it dries stiff. AND make sure you close the gel pot tightly because it will dry up. I have purchased several of these and one of my shipments arrived already dried up. Amazon was good to exchange it though. I can't see going back to any other kind of eyelashes, these really are awesome.

Honestly just meh in my opinion. I’m not fast at doing eyeliner so when I tried this it dried out faster than what I could put on. I’ll just stick with regular lashes.

I was really hoping this was the product for me. Unfortunately it isn’t. This works WAY better than the magnetic liquid liners out there. Unfortunately I still have the issue of lift in the corner of my eye. This seems to give way about 3-5 hours into wear. You can add more on top of it but you’ll have to remove your lash and clean it off the magnets before reapplying the lash though or it won’t stay. It is thicker and much more sticky than normal gel liners but application is just as easy. Just make sure you clean the brush well after. I think this would be great makeup looks or short photo shoots but definitely not a full, or even half, day wear. If you’re into magnetic lashes try this liner! It’s the best I found yet but I will be sticking to extensions myself.

The shape of the lashes is great. The eyeliner and the process were trash. Never stayed down and locked in no matter how I tried. The eyeliner was dry and wouldn't apply smoothly.

The absolute easiest lashes that I have ever put on in my life! I hate fighting with lash glue and applying the lashes only to see that one or both look wonky forcing me to start all over again. I was excited to try the magnetic lashes and these did not disappoint. I applied the gel eyeliner which I really love by itself. I used the brush that was included in the package and it was an easy application. I took those lashes out of the package and popped those babies on within seconds. The first time I used my tweezer but when I repositioned them I used my fingers. It was actually easier to position them with my fingers and I will be using my fingers from now on. I would suggest carrying the liner in your makeup bag just in case you need to reapply more liner. I keep my hands in my face and have rubbed off my liner many times which is another reason why these are perfect for me. The liner doesn’t easily rub off. At one point my eye was a little itchy and I was able to pull the lash off easily and pop it right back on with my fingers. I got the wispy style and they look so natural and feel like I’m not wearing anything. I will definitely be ordering other styles. I did notice that you can see the little magnets if my eyes are down (only because I took a picture with my eyes closed) but it’s not bad at all.
