  • Good power, questionable quality
Color: Blue
The UTV does in fact have 4 motors, one on each wheel, and they are quite powerful. The wheels are not rubber... rather still a hard plastic, but not brittle-hard like many of the others. Maybe a little softer, but still a hard plastic. One note is that the wheels are a lot smaller than on comparable ride-on's. We have one of the jeeps and the wheels are much larger. The UTV wheels are small and only offer about 4" of ground clearance. OK for grass and pavement, but a little low for rougher terrain. Having said that... this thing rocks it's 4WD! I mean, my 4yo has been blazing trails through the woods and has only gotten stuck once. It has switchable 2WD and 4WD. One thing that caught me off-guard is that 2WD is front-wheel drive, not the rears. In 2WD, the rear wheels aren't in neutral. They are resistive so I'm not sure there's any benefit to 2WD. We're mostly off-road here so 4WD is our default. I will give this vehicle kudos for control when stopping. We have a 2WD (rear) jeep and when you let off the gas with those hard plastic tires, it spins out. Very dangerous for a toddler. Also, it has very little braking power. This UTV being front-or-four wheel drive is much safer. Even in a hard stop, it slides straight. And, sliding is rare. It has very good deceleration and maintains control when doing it. Much more comforting for us on hills where the speed can increase and control is critical. The overall quality of the vehicle itself is questionable. Assembly was fraught with plastic pieces that wouldn't snap together because the molds just weren't quite right. Eventually, with a bit of persuasion, they would go together, but seem reluctant to stay that way. Some pieces are held together with screws and the tension in places is enough that I can see them pulling through after some time. The fenders are flimsy and almost break when trying to "snap" them into place. The removable seat bases (to access the storage below) were so misfitted that I doubt we'll ever try to open them again in the fear we'll never get them closed back. The dump bed is pretty neat and works well. Unfortunately, it also suffers from mold/fit problems. One good bump and then entire tailgate will fall off. The hinge pins are so short they barely grab and the top slip-lock to keep it closed barely grabs each side because the bed mold and the gate mold's tolerances are too wide. Battery life seems pretty good so far. Maybe 30-40 mins of hard uphill, in the woods, riding at full speed. My 4yo weighs in at 35lbs and at this weight, the UTV seems to be able to maintain its performance. On high speed, you're not gonna be walking next to your kid... he will leave you in the dust. Unless you're a 5mph power-walker. I am not... and certainly not uphill! I have an issue with the charging mechanism. The charger has no indicator light on it to tell you when it's done. The vehicle has no indicator telling you that it's being charged. You just plug it in and hope it's working. There's no indication at all that anything is happening. In addition, the directions tell you not to leave it charging for more than 20 hours. I'm not sure I understand that. All of our other ride-on's have automatic chargers. Once charged, they "turn green" and stop charging so it doesn't matter if you leave them plugged in for days at a time. These people warn you of fire if you leave it charging for too long. I don't know if that's a real worry or they are just covering their tails. Packaging and shipping were problematic. Ours arrived damaged... of course, not in a way we could see until we were almost done with assembly. The chassis was cracked where the front bumper attaches. I suppose, worst case, the whole front bumper falls off after a hit, but not something we should have to worry about with a new toy. Also be on the watch for cracked or missing parts. If the build quality matched the power, this thing would get 5 stars, but as it stands now, buyer beware. We're going to keep ours and make the best of it. Returning something this big and complicated to assemble just isn't worth the hassle. ... show more

  • Nice
Color: Red
Fun little 2 seater took awhile to put together but that could be a user error as I’m not very good when it comes to car things even toy ones. Looks cute and my kiddos fits great inside with some room to spare. I like the shovel though it is cheaply made they have fun digging up dirt to load into the back. Works great rides smooth and easy to work. Great for the price for hours of fun ... show more

  • So Much Fun
Color: Red
Got this for my grandson for Christmas. It was by far the funnest of all the Christmas gifts. Even some of the adults were quite sad they were too big for it! We had never seen one of these power wheel style cars that had a dumper on the backside! Not only that, but the tailgate goes down. You can literally fill things up in the bed and then dump them. Comes with a fun shovel, too. The kids have not stopped playing with it except for when they've had to take a break to recharge the battery after hours of use! ... show more

  • Very defective and clearly a return
Color: Black
Mine arrived with dirt in several spots and showed obvious signs of being a return. Parts were bent and there was even a random part that didn't belong. The right side rear shock hole had a burr on the inside that wouldn't allow the axle to go through.

  • THIS IS AWESOME
Color: Red
This 2 Seater Kids Ride On Cars UTV is a hit with my kids! The assembly took a bit of time, but it was totally worth it. The 24V electric dump truck is impressive with its 4x200W motors and the ability to switch between 4WD and 2WD. It has a max speed of 5 MPH, which is perfect for safe yet thrilling rides around the yard. The 20" spacious seat is great, as it comfortably fits both kids, making it a fun experience for them to share. One of the best features is the remote control. If the kids are having trouble driving or need a little guidance, I can easily take over and steer for them. The Bluetooth is a nice touch, allowing us to play some tunes while they ride. The battery life is decent—it lasts for a couple of hours, so there's plenty of playtime before it needs to be recharged. I appreciate that the car is battery-powered and doesn't require constant plugging in. The dump bed is really cool and adds an extra element of fun. My kids love pretending they're on a construction site, loading and unloading their toys. The whole experience has been a blast for them and it's definitely a toy that's built to last. If you're looking for something that combines fun, durability, and a bit of adventure for your kids, this ride-on car is a great choice! ... show more

  • Understeer and a faulty Lift Gate
Color: Blue
This Funtok UTV is powerful with 4 x 200W motors and real 4 wheel drive. Assembly takes about an hour and is a little tricky. Having said that, the design needs improvement as the little vehicle suffers from understeer making tight turns impossible. The rear lift gate with shovel is cheap and falls off as soon as car drives. At almost $400 I expected a lot more. This vehicle is too expensive for what you get. ... show more
